Baldys empire will come crashing down with the FOBT £2 max limit.
oh, wait a minute, he's a bookie, he said he lays bigger bets than anybody out there, so the Fobts won't matter.. |
By:
why didnt they tell you,you didnt qualify..as you werent a new client.
By:
I was a new client.
By:
Just to clarify. Someone from my address had an existing account which was true. It wasn't me though.
By:
their offers are usually one per household or ip address
which is usually clearly stated doesnt stop them being an awful bookie though still they have plenty of shops up here so cant knock em too much |
By:
Their software had identified the one per household/ip address but they still took and settled my bet despite me not qualifying for the offer I had applied to receive through their advert.
By:
i think you have zero chance of getting it back,
but good luck theres a guy on horseracing forum paul haigh ......i think , who takes up cases on behalf of punters with the bookies give him a shout |
By:
Paul was very helpful in the past when I had an issue with Coral and can recommend him without hesitation. I haven't exhausted correspondence with Betfred as yet though.
By:
FFS...you clearly contravened the t's and c's.
Man up , swallow the tenner loss and move on . Don't be bothering yer man 'Paul' with trivial sh1te like this. |
By:
No doubt I didn't qualify for the offer under the terms and conditions. Why take my tenner though?

Did u have a bet with your tenner or just donate it to them?
By:
I had a bet which lost. Depositing and placing a tenner bet is part of the terms and conditions of the promotional offer. Once it is settled, the £30 free bet is credited to your account.

Placed a score double on Wycombe and Cambridge utd last Sat with this mob.The bet won ...went on to check my winnings only to find no sign of my bet.I confirmed the bet yet it somehow disappeared into the ether.Anyway..had enough of this shyster firm and have closed my account..fcking criminal outfit. No point in arguing with them because i know they will say i didn't confirm the bet but i know 100% that i did.

By:
1 per household and has been since as far as i can remember
even with bookies i never used before and opened just for the bonus i always went on live chat first and asked if i had any account and asked if i qualify that way they cant do you over |
By:
tbh though i have had 3 or 4 ladbrokes all under my name and got the bonus they must know who to scam
get back on live chat or the phone and give it two barrels if you really need that ten spot |
By:
I understand how free bets work. You need to understand if you contravene the ts and cs you don't qualify. Caveat Emptor.
Bad luck on the losing bet. Now f**k off and stop whinging about a tenner. |
By:
I don't need the tenner but I don't like being conned.
By:
By the way, if the tenner bet had won, I suspect they would have voided it.

No doubt I didn't qualify for the offer under the terms and conditions. Why take my tenner though? Because you loaded your account and bet it Did you not read the t & cs ? that is all they will hit you with the link is just a link doesnt mean you qualify i clicked a link for a free holiday once and got a virus the funny feckers but i am still waiting on my tickets to torremolinos |
By:
why would they void it
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() it's one bonus per household not one account |
By:
As their software had identified my address on the registration page, I should not have been allowed to progress to the deposit stage.
By:
If they recognized my address i would have been of that page quicker than a rat up a drainpipe
You are going to get hit harder than £10 in the future if you sign up to sh1t through links that then load your address for you |
By:
I lasted 40 mins and three bets with BetFred. After that they suspended my account with some bogus KYC issue. It took me around a month via E-mail to get funds released.
Well worth avoiding them. |
By:
You have to remember I applied directly through an advertised link of Betfred's for the promotional offer, I didn't log on directly through their homepage.

You make no sense or are trolling now You already admitted someone has an account not YOU So you are allowed an account just not the bonus You joined here in 05 FFS so you should be at least 29 i reckon you must be on your Daddys account |

I take it you signup to all the £1-£1000,000 challenges on twatter and facespam |

You reckon wrong. If I simply wished an account I would not have accessed their site via the promotion.

By:
You got stung then just watch they links from now on
Google " free bet casino " you will be in your element " |
By:
Frankly, having been in correspondence for the last couple of days with Betfred it won't surprise me which links they throw my way!
By:
Frankly, Meadow, for £10 I wouldn't waste my time, however; in future I suggest you do what we're all taught from an early age... READ THE SMALLPRINT!

They probably breached the Data Protection Act if they told you somebody at the same address had an account with them.....
It would probably be obvious who that is, and they may well be very disappointed that BtFd are telling you that they gamble online. Maybe they should complain to the Information Commissioner about this company giving out extremely personal information at the drop of a hat...... |
By:
Well that's an interesting angle. To be fair to Betfred they didn't say who it was that had an account at my address but as it's only my young lady and I that stay here there is a fair chance I would have been able to work it out.
By:
Quite, and that's why they shouldn't have told you.
It also explains why many online firms SAY only 1 account per address, but they actually allow more, as they cannot say there is another account at the address. Equally if they deny you the offer, they are also more or less confirming that there is an account there, without saying as such. So they're caught in a catch 22 situation. I expect the existing account holder is somewhat distressed you now know they are a bit of a gambler....... |
By:
They always see there is already an account linked to this address if there is one and you ask
Same if you sign up to BT then try again they will say you already have a connection i don't think you will go far with this malarkey |
By:
Considering she had chucked me twice previously, a gambler she definitely is by taking me on for a third time!
By:
They will just close the other one if you try mess them about
Be prepared to take a beaten from your old man ![]() |
