you say no pre season but he spent most of the summer being photographed doing all the celebrity circuit...should have got the deal done asap and got ready for this if he wants to dine at the Messi/Ronaldo top table..

come on Cooper, Pogba has alot of talent. he's slowly getting better his body adapts to the fitness demands of the EPL.

Zlatan is too old. Mourinho seems so lost with his tactics in recent years. Pogba has some talent, but he's been rushed into this team. he's used to a slower pace in Italy, and he's really struggling to adapt the pace of the EPL. it didn't help that they pushed him straight into playing matches when he barely had a preseason. maybe we'll see some good stuff from him in November and December when he's finally  fit enough to keep up with the pace of the EPL

I was explaining this to people last night

Mourinhos tactics work now and again but he is not just up against basic 4-4-2 now every team is playing in differetn ways ( well not all but you get what i mean )

Simeone
Conte
Klopp
Guardiola
Rodgers  Grin

Mourinho is not up with them anymore

exactly. unprofessional on Pogba's part also. but the club should have recognised this and got him up to speed through training before throwing him into the deep end with high profile matches, whether he liked it or not. they were probably too scared to do this though.

but even if we pardon Pogba and his lackluster performances, the shape and style of play is totally wrong from Mourinho. he seems to be unable to adapt to the demands of football in 2016. he's still trying the same old things he was doing 10 years ago

Problem is when your whole approach is to park the bus and bore everyone senseless (against perceived top 4 or 5 league teams) and you go 1-0 down early on then the players mindset is all wrong, and can end up getting a real thumping.

As is the case today.

Man Utd finishing position last three seasons

7th 4th and 5th

That just puts in to perspective what level Man Utd are at.

this puts into perspective the level of manager we had with Louis van Gaal. but we treated him with contempt and now we're stuck with this anti-footballing mug.

Shows just how much being  a good player in the past at good clubs can really propel you past amateurs
