You would hate to have paid decent money to sit and watch this match .  Don't think Man U had a shot at goal in 93 minutes . Never looked like scoring ( or wanting to score ) .Liverpool were just not good enough to outsmart a defensive system .Wonder how long it will be before the died in the wool fans vote with their feet and find something more interesting to do ?

Utd had the best chance of the whole game.

The game was terrible. There was no quality. The idea it was solely Utd to blame is rubbish. Liverpool were pish too. No ideas, no creativity, nothing. Liverpool's best chance was what a pot shot from 30 yards (where the closing down was terrible).

The footie was very reminiscent of relegation team footie last year.  The poverty of the football only exceeded by the timidity of the managers.

People can scoff all they like but Liverpool have started very well this season if you play an open game you could get a good hiding , so not great viewing but a good result

Does nobody work out the economics of football these days ? From what I know about pay for footballers these days , each of the players on the pitch got at least 10 grand for their efforts tonight ( 20 grand a week , 2 matches max ) .  Was any of them worth that amount of money ?

It's sad that so many people are falling out of love with a game they once loved. It's a worrying trend. People are starting to get fed up with this overgrown sport

They aren't. The reaction is mostly negative from Man Utd fans. If anything Liverpool fans seem happier.

N88UK-     Maybe negative from fans but not from your egomaniac manager and any of your players interviewed.Herrera and Young to name but two! Thoroughly chuffed with days work and openly saying job done. Laughable to my eye.

Jose's 3 year plan has always been....

1) Buy a Bus
2) Park the Bus
3) Crash the Bus
