Looks like Arsenal may have dodged a bullet with that 30 million bid for Jamie Vardy when he turned them down.  Can't hit a barn door today, one season wonder?

Does anybody really think Vardy would have been a huge success at Arsenal, and is better than what they already have there? He wouldn't suit their style of play at all imo, and it was always a kind of weird link to me as he didn't seem to fit the Arsenal mould.

don't think giroud suits the style of play at all. don't think not signing a striker is dodging a bullet at all. he may not have worked but giroud needs a kick up the arsé
