they sound like two mates in a pub constantly chatting away about complete randomness, seem like they forget they are commentating on a football match on TV in front of millions

They started talking about charity matches Pearce had played in Sweden as part of a Press team, at one point Murphy asked him if his wife called him a gift from God at home lol.

Disrespectful pair of twats. Yes the game was boring but no more boring than watching wales or the rep of Ireland(well I find the welsh/Irish games boring),

I find the need to mute Jonathan Pearce when he gets excited. His voice gets kind of irritaing. So luckily it was a completely uneventful game.

Pearce should be working for the stats. department of some company,as his monotonous nasal droning of meaningless stats is a total bore,and completely unnecessary.
Pearce of one channel,and Tyldesley on the other is as bad as it can be.I say that because we DO HAVE some good mikesmiths,but they aren't used often enough. Pearce treats the viewers like idiots. |

I like Pearce although he does talk utter sh!te sometimes. He also loves talking about the Republic's chances, when most BBC commentators and pundits seem to like to overlook them.
