Not a mssive outsider but Portugal at 20's will win you ver a grand.
Thought they looked head and shoulders above England the other night despite the score and they had a man sent off. They had some first teamers rested including Ronnie obviously and England were full strength yet still looked 2nd best even with an extra man at times. Wide open tournament. Ronnie could be the difference in any tight game Portugal 20/1 |

CROATIA are well organised and play like a team. No super stars to drag them down. They will trouble any team.

Spot on Mac i still have the vision of the Brazil defeat 2 years ago in my head they got robbed a bit imo , i had overs in that game so goals either end didnt matter and now Croatia are more experienced.

Most the Midfield play in Spain and Italy same as Kalinic and Manduzic
So we got the dirty midfielders that will win the tackles from Italy then the Spanish attack threat of Modric and Rakitak and the Spanish guy from Madrid Kovecic or whatever. This is a 28/1 well worth a punt thye have Spain that's thy i think so high they will get out the groups though with ease and price crash. |

@ TheChaser...Croatia always appear as a side lacking something to me...or a side thats ready to implode at any given moment...
maybe its belief they lack, i dont know...I dont rate Mandzukic either... but, good luck on your bet ![]() |

^ here's hoping Moneytree doesn't back either of 'em

panther they have lacked it for years its time to let it all out , i think manduzic is ok not the best but if he has been listening to my prayers of him look at old Davor Suker tapes he comes out on fire.
|
|
By:
if Mandzukic was only half as good as Davor Suker he would be a top striker

Don't know that much about the current Croatia team, but is it fair to say that they are a better balanced, more cohesive side than some Croatia sides of the past? How would you guys rate them in comparison with, say the '98 WC team, which had a few world-class players, but maybe not the same strength right through the team?
|
|
By:
Just looking at the odds for Portugal at 20/1. They are 50/1 to win and Ronaldo to be top goal scorer.
You would think for them to win it he's going to have to bang a few in. With him being on the penalties and their top scorer anyway that might be worth a nibble. They have Austria, Hungary and Iceland in their group. He should torment Hungary and Iceland possibly Austria. Then in the knock out stages he will again have to be the man. Portugal/Ronaldo TGS 50/1 |
|
By:
Think I'll have a score on that myself actually

Hard to compare for me , was a lot of quality in that team and would probably beat this team back then but in 18 years fitness has improved all round so that team in 98 v this team in 2016 would probably be fecked after HT.That team from 98 just missed on euro 2000 by a point in qualifiers , they all played for decent teams also. |

what price is ronnie outright tgs
|
|
By:
Yea they had some very skillful individuals Prosinecki, Boban, Suker etc
|
|
By:
10/1
It's not 10 x 20/1 (portugal odds x ronaldo odds) though as the bet would be linked unfortunately. Another way to look at it is. What odds is Ronaldo to be Portugals top scorer, he's 1/2 So 20/1 for say tenner gives you £210 then on a 1/2 £315 i.e 30/1 |
|
By:
I dont rate them but its Ronnies last show at the Euros as a great player so if he can carry them you never know , pepe etc need to keep the head
|

Pelle at 55 to be top scorer
