that's it high ball in, on the noggin. none of this fancy stuff.
In the second half England's one and only tactic has been to get it out wide and get it in the box. Fair enough, it has worked against 10 men after a centre half stayed up from a corner but that will not win you a major international tournament against the most canny sides on the planet.
I know it's only a friendly but crazy to think there was twice as much traded on English county 20/20 cricket than our national team playing our national sport.

Instead of paying a manager millions a year it might be better to pay a small salary and top it up with bonuses for (1) qualifying, (2) getting out of the tournament group, (3) winning the group, (4) winning the knock out games.
