Is this this where reality kicks in? Bet Draw AND away win and still finish in front if England don't win.

You can back Portugal +1 first half at 1.63 when it's top price 4/9 with the bookies.

Portugal rely heavily on Ronaldo. Fully fit he would terrify England's back 4. Without him I can't see them winning.

Hardly think he would terrify them

why do you post one of the odds in decimals, and the other in fractions?

Ronaldo doesnt terrify anyone these days, Portugal more balanced without him here.  Backed them earlier this week 5/2 DNB and happy with it.

Ithink ronaldo is eyeing up old trafford real fans have suspected this for 2 years or more an english friend who goes to madrid matches quite a lot  says fans expect him away and that was before jose arrived .Finally shame copa america is in the US love the atmosphere in south america and this will suit mexico with so many fans living in the US

England v Portugal - Portugal First Half +1

whats this all about why so much matched in this market?
By:
clacherholiday2
When: 02 Jun 16 16:05
since the champions league final theres been somebody over laying the firs thalf handicap markets.

because of the number of people taking advantage its not such a big sifference today but if you look at the matched bets theres people with thousands over 4/5.

all the books have it at about 4/9

so are they laying Portugal +1 then or backing it? hard to tell from the graph
By:

When: 02 Jun 16 16:30
the bot was laying the money, true odds should be below 1.5, same in every match with the first half handicap market.

Not much point fretting over the odds until the teams are announced.

I expect those with little recent game time for their clubs or England will feature quite heavily.

Why do they even play this friendly now when in 1 week is the euro 2016? I must wonder what really is the point in this. Can someone who has somekinda deeper understanding, why is it that they are even playing this?

Jamesdean, I would say sensible to try out the team you may want to pick for your first game. These players haven't had much chance to gel together.

Possibly. Not sure that will be the case if any of them get injured though

Its at Wembley.  If I was northern I would feel a bit miffed.

They get the slightly s hitty friendlies ( Australia) and the slightly s hitty athletic meetings (commonwealth games).

My fantasy, England win 4-1 tonight (40/1 with B365) with Vardy and Kane bagging a brace each. The odds for an early Euro exit then soar from the current 6/1 to 20/1. I then lump on. Sadly, I don't see England progressing beyond the group stage (again)

Conversely, I'm on Rooney at 40/1 to get Sports Personality of the Year, which of course he would win as team captain should England actually win Euro 2016.

Against proper fully motivated opposition this team will get  beat easily. 4-4-2 why Kane AND Vardy none of them hold the ball up too similar and waste of a place.

That national anthem was full of passion wasn't it?? Plain
