you are more than entitled to hope for us to fail, after all its the only interest you get world cups/ euros championships.if fairness to you chaser i doubt you ever expect to qualify for anything and therefore you don't suffer any sense of dissapointment. the truth is whilst you don't expect us to win you actually FEAR it.the sickening feeling it will give you month after month and year after year will be unbearable for you.more importantly you will have nothing to hope for.you must yearn for the heady days of maurice malpass and co to return.

The game in Scotland is in a death spiral and probably deserves to be. Watching England going out on pens isn't funny anymore.
I'll be supporting Iceland who have built accessible and affordable facilities throughout their country while anything we get comes with a padlock or fees too high for poorer kids to use. They now reap the rewards while we are a fking embarrassment. I won't get any kicks from seeing England lose nor will it bother me if they win the thing. We have bigger problems like having a u17 team that can restrict Portugal to under 28 shots. |

sickoflayinwinners at least you understand sort of , it's good for us to see England get mauled every 2 years
If you's actually got tested in the qualifiers then i think yu's would have a better chance but no competitive games for 2 years is never going to work for mediocre players. |

England is the only country you border, in Europe, much like with Eurovision, countries always support their neighbours, so I don't why the Scots are not the same, support England, you will find it liberating.

speaking purely as a British citizen, I'm with Chaser on this one, the English guys laughed at big ANDY for years but he didn't half f-ck them up, also, you Englanders must be dreading the humping you're going to get with the worst squad I think I have ever seen. cheers.

Well, it was much more fun when they went to tournaments actually thinking they had a great chance of winning. Since they've got a bit more realistic seeing them fail miserably early on isn't as excellent as it was 10-15 years ago. Still funny as ****, don't get me wrong, but it's hard to care as much without the media seething that used to come with it.
FWIW I'll be supporting Albania. Dunno about the knockout stages yet. I'll probably watch England v Gareth Bale but I can't see myself making the effort of watching too many other group games, maybe Norn Iron if Niall McGinn plays, but that's it. It'll be a case of "wake me up at the quarter-final stage please" |

I always follow Italy when scotland aren't involved (which has been quite often recently)
as for supporting england, they fluked a tournament win 50 years ago and even though FIFA changed the rules after that to prevent the home teams from cheating again, we have had to listen to english fans going on about it ever since. most of their fans are not even intelligent enough to realise that england and the other big countries only qualify all the time because the draw is **** to get them there for financial reasons. yet they still boast when their team makes it to the finals. |
