leicester will do well to get out of the group. virtually everyone in pots 2 and 3 will superior to them and a lot of teams by a large margin

They will be artificially low to win it because of their story though. I expect around 100/1. Should be around 250/1 probably.

Lots of teams in the Premiership were meant to be superior to them too, they were favourites for Relegation.

But they still won the league over Chelsea, City, Tottenham, Arsenal, Liverpool amongst over so called bigger clubs.

Not sure how people can say who is superior to who anyway before seeing who they are going to buy, and who the other clubs are going sell, and vice versa.

I can see their counter attacking style working in Europa, not the typical English gung-hop approach, they have a manager who understands tactics.

Be nice if Leicester were to show the English Clubs are it should be done in Europe, but they have peaked this season and next season are unlikely to be able to do it all over again, but it would make another fantastic story

Leicester would piss all over Atletico Madrid.

Main worry for Leicester in Europe is being stuffed 2-5 at home by Arsenal who are probably the most European in style in PL

Lack of squad is a huge problem straight off the bat for Leicester.

The only way Leicester would score against Atletico is via the practice goalposts before the game

Given the English sides in general struggle to get out of their groups these days, I would guess Leicester are odds against to even get out of the average group they could get.

Atletico Madrid are a rubbish defensive team who are reliant on Griezmann for goals. You can't be a top European side with Fernando Torres in your team.

Leicester will add to their squad and get through the group stages of the CL i'm confident they will.

Athletic Madrid I think are the hardest side in Europe to beat, but I do hope that Leicster do well in the competition, I have my doubts obviously. I honestly don't think he will buy, too many players, because Leicester will not pay players the joke money, that the big and not so good players want and will continue with this squad and maybe 2, perhaps 3 others.

if leicester can keep their players I can see them upsetting a few teams in the CL with their fast attacking breaks.

the EPL teams couldn't deal with it this season and the other CL teams won't be used to it either when leicester charge quickly up the field.

City were never at the races. Ronaldo wasn't fit.

Unless Liverpool can win tonight the likelihood is that all 4 finalists will be Spanish and the Champions League is going to be won by a Spanish team for the 3rd consecutive year.

City's team is full of players they paid 20 million and upwards for and they were very poor.

City very dis-appointing against a Real team that over both  games looked no more than average, last night Ronnie/Bale never in the hunt Velazquez poor/Rodriguez poor,City have little in the way of creativity when the maestro Silva isn,t playing.

Please bear with me when murray won the davis cup almost single handed he played 3 matches in 3 days on several occasions and was exhausted at the end of each match. In 2 games did man city die with their boots on 2 shots in 2 matches acc to tsport and nobody left the pitch looking as though they had give their all. Real were very ordinary last night and yet city were happy to keep possession with very little pressure on real.

I was amazed that Aguero didn't play.  You'd think that he'd have been one of the first names on the sheet in a fixture of this magnitude.

sick of hearing about lazy fans ,pundits media banging on about this great athletico defense, in certain games they might defend well but not conceding goals isnt an automatic sign of defending well, bayern had 35 attempts at goal, when man utd were at their peak pallister, bruce ,stamp etc they wouldnt concede 30 attempts at goal in a season at old trafford,
maybe the opposition players are getting it drummed into them how good madrid are at the back by their own coaches and trying to make sure aiming for the corners, passing when they should shoot, shooting when they should pass, muller passing the other night with an open goal, panicing rushing at chances expecting challenges that arnt coming, etc

Real Madrid have kept 10 clean sheets in 12 Champions League games this season. On top of that they are heavy scorers 8-0 v Malmo in the group stage. Atletico Madrid struggle to score goals.

ledonowski could have scored 4, and muller 2 [1 pen ], in the 1st 30 mins the other night no great saves, tackles blocks etc, what would you be saying if they,d put them chances away, thats as well as the goal

Real Madrid have scored five goals in the last 900 minutes against Atletico. Atletico don't need to score many.

we,re not arguing about the goals scored
probably didnt but ronny might have hit the bar 10 times, post 8 times, had 6 disallowed etc in those 900 mins, they were hopeless at the back in munich, but bayern didnt take advantage of their 35 attempts on goal
By:
Mikael D'Haguenet
When: 05 May 16 21:10
You're arguing about goals that MIGHT have been scored. They've been hopeless at the back all season. That's why the 'keeper has more clean sheets than goals allowed.

you can have clean sheets with your keeper smoking cigars or your keeper getting motm, the latter means your defense has been shoite
By:
Mikael D'Haguenet
When: 05 May 16 21:29
Yes, their defence has been shoite all year and the goalie is MOTM every other game. You've obviously watched them a lot.

ALL I NO is in the 2 games against bayern they wernt good defensively, and lazy journo,s,pundits and fans thinking clean sheets automaticaly means good defending ,does me goat in

vilereal never been in the game tonight but have had 5 good chances does them not scoring mean l,pool have defended well
By:

I don't blame journos, pundits or fans for being lazy when automatically accepting that a side with 34 clean sheets in 54 matches is, in fact, pretty good at defending.
