No one compares to Balotelli
Report tenpins May 2, 2016 8:59 PM BST
Far too easy to provoke.
I'm going to abuse him from the stands on saturday.
He'll probably find me and lay me out Blush

Costa is the worst kind of bully - pushes, pulls, kicks and elbows anything in sight and then screams like a pre-pubescent girl at a Bieber concert when anybody gives him as much as a dirty look.

And he plays for the chav s****s.
Report scandanavian_haven May 2, 2016 9:01 PM BST
Costa is nasty

But tbf he's never done something as nasty or vicious as what Ben thatcher or John Fashanu did. They were real thugs.

that's an affirmative
Report Johnny_Mustang May 2, 2016 9:02 PM BST
No, you're wrong. He's nothing more than a pantomime villain and plays up to it. The PL needs more like him.

Either him or Robert Huth, both total scum

Costa is by far and away the worst. The others mentioned above had their rep but played with passion to win the game. OK Balotelli a bit calmer most days...Also some of the others were not as frequent offenders. and very harsh to have Huth on this list imho.

Costa would start a fight in a phonebox!

Just read Costa's biography, and he hasn't been the same bloke since he ran over his own dog. Says it was an accident but I don't believe him.

Big Ferguson was a hard bastard, can't remember him rolling about 5-6 times a game anytime he was touched

Costa is a bully, he only starts a fight if he thinks he can win.
I give you his apology to Skrtel at Liverpool, looked to see who it was and then backed down.
Report kincsem May 5, 2016 10:15 AM BST
What really annoy me about Diego Costa is he tried to get other players in trouble for doing a tenth of what he does.
Two-faced thick thug.

Spurs Kyle Walker could have and should have kicked Costa up into the stands.
Very proud of Spurs English players in that game.
That is what we want to see in the European championships, take note Roy Hodgson.
Report Marcce May 5, 2016 10:59 AM BST
Very proud of Tottenham's English players?

They totally lost it and in doing so chucked away what slim chance they had of winning the title. Not much to be proud of there.
Report lfc1971 May 5, 2016 11:07 AM BST
They knew what they had to do, this is how all european and international competitions are won. English players had better learn this and quickly.
The Spurs players have shown that they are starting to understand.
Report Marcce May 5, 2016 11:16 AM BST
Very few top competitions are won like that.

The basic truth is that those Tottenham players came up against a level of hatred you rarely find in grounds in this country these days and they crumpled. With the way the game is officiated these days they could and should have been down to 8 or 9 players.

If anything, and I've not had cause to say this very much this season, it's Chelsea players who deserve the praise. They kept their focus on getting something out of the game whilst the mayhem was going on around them.
Report lfc1971 May 5, 2016 11:22 AM BST
Referees don`t send off 2 or 3 players, you have seen in every World cup and European competition that that simply dosn`t happen. The one and main reason that England does poorly in competitions, and English clubs are failing in Europe is that they fail to understand this.
Report lfc1971 May 5, 2016 11:27 AM BST
The Spain Holland world cup final was such a match.
Also how do you think these two teams got to the final?
Report lfc1971 May 5, 2016 11:29 AM BST
Let me give a clue, you can forget about them playing good football.
Report Kit-Kat-Dan May 5, 2016 11:49 AM BST
Marcce, I agree entirely with your comments above (I'm a Spurs fan btw) however in the week leading up to the match, the media had been awash with reports of Chelsea players saying how desperate they were for Leicester to win the title and that they would do all they could to topple Spurs' chances.

I think we can all assume that if the season had gone down to the final game, Leicester would have taken the necessary 3 points at the bridge.

Any punishment meted out to Spurs players will be fully justified but surely Chelsea players were leaving themselves open for an accusation of bringing the game into disrepute if (it's only an if obviously) this had happened.
Report spyker May 5, 2016 12:12 PM BST
it's Chelsea players who deserve the praise.

This phrase sums up the delusional modern day football fan - they deserve slightly less stick form their own fans nothing more. For 1 match where a local rival had a small chance of possibly winning the league in a months time if they didn't lose, the players/fans show a bit of passion and that is good enough for all? Pat yourselves on the back, forget that the season has been appalling from start to finish with embarrassing performance throughout and in all comps, 'we' played a small part in another team not winning so the season is a success! Anybody over 40 will remember Chelsea seems to have come full circle.........
