Odds look big on over 2.5 goals at 2.76

Burnley 3 out of last 6 have been overs and Boro 4 out of 6 have been overs - an average over odds for a English game is 2.20?

I took 2.54 yesterday.

Gone under myself, its alright playing bolton and Reading when you need to win and games going over, different when so much is at stake against the top two who will both be trying not to lose, be very tight. Last few games mean nothing.
Report tommo1000 April 19, 2016 6:44 PM BST
can see boro soaking up the pressure and scoring a late one on the break,be a really tight game, unders for me and a boro/wigan double

The key for me is the midfield. Burnley are strong at the back with a brilliant keeper and the front 2 speak for themselves. The midfield lacks creativity and pace and if things don't start well the defence often chooses the long ball. UTC.

shame albion didn't beat burnley(they played them of f the park) at the amex and it would be boro and albion for sure to fill top two spots, albion   beating teams out of sight at the moment and look the most inform  team , hopefully its premiership footy  for the goodship albion next season.

i think the draws ok for albion but possibly better if bro win.
Report sickoflayinwinners April 19, 2016 9:42 PM BST
was sort of hoping a situation could arise where boro and albion could be 3 pts clear of burley going to the last day where they would play out a mutualy satisfying draw.

Think they went down in the season they reached the FA Cup Final - 1983?   2/3 seasons in the top flight?
Report sickoflayinwinners April 19, 2016 9:52 PM BST
albion did indeed get relegated  in the season of the man utd cup final.they were  going reasonably well in that season but  playing pretty dull footy and  then decided to  put jimmy melia in charge and the rest is history
Report sickoflayinwinners April 19, 2016 9:53 PM BST
if we do go up its gonna need plenty of blooms loot  to keep us up there.
Report tommo1000 April 19, 2016 9:54 PM BST
well they nearly won the cup but for a horrendous miss
Report sickoflayinwinners April 19, 2016 9:58 PM BST
yep, independent opinions suggest it was one of the great cup finals, robinson did the right thing in passing to  gordon smith"and smith must score" but sadly gary bailey saved it with his legs without even knowing he had, then in the replay utd were different class.
Report tommo1000 April 19, 2016 10:01 PM BST
ray Wilkins left foot curler was class, epic game
Report sickoflayinwinners April 19, 2016 10:06 PM BST
ray wilkins is almost undoubtedly the most underrated and much maligned player of his time.all the car p  about him only passing sideways was utter nonsense, he just  actually made sure he found a team mate  almost everytime.he was a fine player

good a throwing balls at referees as wellHappyyou don`t get to play for ac Milan unless you`ve got something tbh,he was a great player

Burnley still firm favourites to go up. Victory at Preston will go a long way to getting there and the last 2 fixtures wont be easy but they don't look too demanding Another great season and a transfer fee surplus. A model football club.
Report cricketnut2 April 21, 2016 12:42 PM BST
so are Brighton, my friend, come back from not even having a ground, for a couple of years, then onto the Withdean an awful little stadium, stayed in the Football League on the final day of the season, with an equalising goal and now have a superb stadium, where away fans are looked after, second to none, an excellent manager and a side, that really deserves to have ago at The Premier League, although I'm not saying they won't go the same way, as either Burnley or Middlesborough, if they went up. However why Brighton are looked as, as a small club, is beyond me. Attendences, are way above Burnleys and the ground would be full every game, if they did go up.
Report NOW WE KNOW April 21, 2016 1:31 PM BST
No problem with Brighton and respect most of what you say apart from comparing attendances. Burnley is a town of 80k with numerous big and small clubs pulling potential fans away. I read a survey that stated they are the best supported team per capita in the world in the higher professional leagues, some achievement.
