Weighed in myself as well. Their offers are great. So are Sky bets if you're not restricted. I had one the other day, bet £100 over 2 nights on champs league football and get a free £50 bet for the Europa. Made £200 off it.

Ive done this one earlier aswell, £125ew on Many Clouds and laid some of it off on here for a free bet.

I dont know **** about horses so happy to back the fav for a free bet.  £325 for a win, £125 for a place and £0 for a loss.

So somebody tell me who knows about the horse markets, is it the case that all of the place prices are way out of line because all the bookies have stupid offers on the national?  Is there sense in backing these place prices blind?

Just thought there, I could win more than those numbers if it does place or win, the price has already drifted out at least 1 point.  Great offer if you can get on.

No nothing about horses , I take it you lay off on the betfair 5 places market for this bet , yes ?
By:

When: 09 Apr 16 10:52
You've probably already done but no, lay off the to be placed market. If your nag comes fifth you win both bets and make a nice tidy sum.

Just looking for a free bet, small win for place, big win for 1st. Some saying you have to lay the win part of the bet as well as the place, don't understand why?

What's the offer?

Got the email but don't punt much so binned it and is there a way to lay off on here for zero risk?
By:

When: 09 Apr 16 11:29
Yes. Lay off the win and to be placed markets to cover your stake. Your profit comes from your 50% refund.
By:

When: 09 Apr 16 11:31
You don't have to lay of the win though, if you just lay the 5 place, the bet just costs you a few pounds, but win big if a winner, no?

Thanks, seen the PM when I logged in. Done £50 worth of bets, now to lay them off.

About 3 months ago I was matched betting regularly (matchedbettingblog.com) but the offers dried up after XMas and I stopped. I was making around £200 PM from them so decent pocket money. Got banned from promotions on PP which also kicked me in the teeth (the same time they merged with Betfair.) I should start again.

I've seen people in here mock matched bettors. The fact is it is the only way to guarantee profit.

Fck it, backed the fav Many Clouds, think I win about £600 if it wins, .................

And drastically limit winnings! Don't get me wrong laying off obv has it's place but this 'guaranteed profit' thing that many (younger) seem to need to do with every bet makes me laugh. Time and a place.

Don't bookies restrict your account if you win constantly Confused

Matched betting is an easy way to exploit the bookies, seem like a losing punter and fit their "ideal customer".

I'm a shrewd punter not a mug punter.

logged into my 365 account for a laugh, can have £1.50 on most of
the Grand National runners - No offer either as expected

Placed a few bets up to £120, so they refund half stake after the race?

Seems a bit odd this one as they know people can lay off for no loss

Offer ended at 12.00 today.

It's not really their concern that you can lay off, as long as your bet with them goes down.
By:

When: 09 Apr 16 12:27
Matched bettors are organised and bet methodically which the bookies don't like. They want punters who will gamble on 2 flies on a wall, spin the casino and mug bet all round. I haven't done a punt since XMas, I'm sure my bets today will throw up a flag.

I get that just wondering why as giving half stake back is a sure fire loser for them. So they give half back on losers after the race then? As not had anything bk after placing

you get back 1/2 your stakes on e.w. selections about up to 2 hrs after placing them
the result is incidental
as has been posted offer ended at 1200
fair play to them
you can withdraw the returned stakes
don't have to bet with them

I'm guessing it's a loss leader.

Remember promotions are there to reward the site, not just you. I spoke to a Betfair rep one time about poker freerolls and he said there was a direct correlation between players playing them and net deposits. Guess that's why all sites run them.

it is a blinding offer. presumably its all about making a permanent link between value and 365 in punters minds. i cant remember when i last had an offer from sadblokes, and i only go there when i have a specific reason for doing so eg someone has flagged a price or a market......never to check prices.

recently, 365s pre match footy prices have been top notch value, both with and without their £50 free bet offers......makes sense to bet there rather than BFEX as the prices are often similar if not the same

I just checked oddschecker and Many Clouds is 10.5 on Betfair and 9.0 on 365. If this offer wasn't on then it makes more sense to back with Betfair even with 5% commission. I think it's stupid tying yourself to any site which is what these promotions are intended.

they are the best by miles for offers so fair play to them.

but they choose their markets carefully - e/w betting in the National is a bookies benefit - they know it, even if you don't or have forgotten Wink

I'll get you one out of the Bethany instead Crazy

Done my first mug bet of the year as well, backed all 6 games in the Irish league to draw in a Lucky 63. Every team is playing a team either 1 place above or below them, not much at stake for some while too much at stake for others. I think it's worth a small punt.

Except it doesn't if your already in the BF Super Tax bracket, or if you are anticipating/hope to be in the BF Super Tax bracket in the next few years.
