We used to go up twice a year.
Been a long time though, used to be a night meet then afternoon one the following day.
We always stayed at the hotel in Perth next to the station, The Queens I think it was called.

No, I've been to Scone a few times but not for the races.  I don't trust myself with £20 notes in my hands.

I've a pal who goes regularly & he always invites me along.  When are you next through?  I'll make an exception!

In the station or across the road?  I know the latter and I know peeps who have stayed @ the former.

Cheltenham for the festival is unbelievable but the traffic to and fro the course is a nightmare.

We always went by train so no probs with having a drink for the driver.

Because your club was liquidated and the blue pound did nothing to save it. It hasn't kept alive any team and it couldn't even keep your own team alive so it's cringe worthy to hear people bang on about it as if it actually has any relevance. In previous generations maybe it had some value but if it did those generations would no doubt be cringing about the fact that the current fans such as you have a "blue pound" that has the value of not being able to even prevent your own club from liquidation.

Todays game attracted the biggest crowd at any football ground in the UK this weekend.
Fans were superb throughtout. Great the amount of time the players spent with them at the end.

speaking purely as a neutral, I must give a big thank you to Glasgow Rangers for playing football the way it should be played, it's very pleasing on the eye, very entertaining, I must give there fans a big mention too, they have stuck with their team when others were hoping they would fail, so good for them. Falkirk could possibly join them there next season and then there will be two good football teams in the premier league. cheers.
