French coach hardly going to cut off his nose to spite his face is he?  Payet has played for France  a number of times and has been found wanting.
Too much hype/emphasis about playing in the PL.  I mean there are even some people doubting the class of Messi and Ibra b'cos they haven't played in the PL.

He dived to try and win a penalty and wasn't booked. Dived for the free kick which he scored from. Great goal from set piece but the diving antics are comparable to Suarez.

think you`re getting a bit carried away, yesterday he was up against players who are out of their depth in the championship,he did absolutely nothing against Liverpool, most likely to get 2nd season syndrome and do b****r all next year,a la michu, pella etc

Payet isn't that sort of player...the boy is class through and through...his talent can not be taught, it's natural just like Messi

He can have quiet games and still influence the result. One assist, one goal. Both brilliant bits of skill with his wrong foot.

His head must be spinning. He could play for anyone but he's a Hammer (for the time being).

Please stay Dimi..

payet is scarily brilliant, he may win the tourney for france all but single handedly, france may be one of the  more highly rated side with a worse defence than england.i think  more attack minded sides than romania may find frances defence out.

The most impressive things is his hunger. he shows for the ball.....watch the england spoofers go missing when the pressure is on ala Gerard and Lampard

if he never scored that wonder goal hes had a poor game with the sh1t crosses imo

an assist against romania would have been his lot out about 40 crosses none made it past the defenders hardly , but just shows how easy he gets past the english league players

He was purring well before his assist in the 2nd half especially always looked dangerous.

I don't bother too much with this forum these days because the number of people that actually know anything about football is probably less than 10%. The great thing about it though is moments like this when we can all laugh at the plums who spend more time on here spouting crap than actually winning any money.

BTW - how are you keeping Roger?

if english refs ever clamp down on diving then payet will never finish a game.

HE'S SCORE A GOAL EACH AGAINST THE ROMANIANS AND THE MIGHTY.........ALBANIANSLaughLaugh

THE REASON WHY HE IS PUSHING 30 WITHOUT HAVING PLAYED FOR A TOP CLUB IS BEACAUSE HE IS A HIT AND MISS PLAYER, 5/6 GOOD GAMES HERE, GOES MISSING FOR 5/6 GAMES THERE, ASK ANY MARSEILLE FAN

TECHNICALL TOP DRAWER, BUT TOP PLAYERS CARRY A CERTAIN MENTALITY AND HE AINT GOT IT, NO BIG CLUB WILL BE COMING IN FOR HIM

YOU ARE BASICALLY WORSHIPPING A FLASH IN THE PAN  PLAYER, NO BETTER OR WORSE THAN WHAT DAVID GINOLA WAS

BUT YOU CARRY ON GIVING YOURSELF A PAT ON THE BACK SON......YOU SPOTTED HIM FIRST......AT THE GRAND OLD AGE OF 29

acquiesce is talking through his derriere.

I have no loyalties to W Ham, but Payet is a class apart from anything Man U have with the exception of Rooney.
One of the top creative and dead ball specialist in the prem, up there with Hazard,Eriksen, Silva and  Mahrez, what separates him is he's the top dead ball player in the prem.

He's scored SIX free kicks goals from 276 games he's played......and you're calling him a DEAD BALL SPECIALIST

Decent player but what the hell is he doing at West Ham at this stage of his career?    Something doesn't quite add up.
