**PLEASE READ - JUST FOR FUN - THESE ARE NOT TIPS**
I started with a bank of £50 on 1st Jan 2016 and as of today 21st Jan 2016 I have a bank of £133.60 - Profit £83.60 - 166% Profit
ok so here goes... I have tried numerous betting systems and all have failed. The martingale system is a loss chasing system that is normally used on roulette. Basically you put £2 red or black if it loses you then double up and put £4 on the same colour and keep doubling up until you win and then start again with £2. So the stakes go 2 4 8 16 32 64 128 256 etc. So after 8 reds in a row you would be staking £512 on a 50/50 outcome, the brain is fooled into thinking that the same colour cannot win again but the Roulette wheel has no memory, meaning the previous results have no bearing on the next result, its still a 50/50.. so this stystem fails as the bettor either runs out of money or nerves or the amount they need to stake is limited.
However!!......
Would the Martingale system work with football?? Not all outcomes are 50/50 eg Arsenal v Crewe - top of premier league v bottom of league 1... odds would be someing like Arsenal 1.45 v Crewe 7.5 . So you are betting on a favourite not a 50/50.
So i started on 1st of Jan 2016 by betting on a teams that are odds. I originally tried to back just home teams between 1.69 and 1.40 but then switched to away teams at the same prices. I have also cashed out if looked at bit dodgy around the 80 minutes mark but not too many times.
The System
Back odds on 1.69 to 1.45 (dont back on friendlies)
Try and let the match run to the end
If the team loses back your next team to recover the loss
If you last match of the day is a loss, carry over tomorrow
Increase profit target £3 per match when I reach £200, and my target is £500
eg Arsenal @ 1.50 - you would need to stake £4 to win £2
if they lose your next bet is on Man Utd @ 1.50 is £12 ( this will recover the £4 lost stake and the £2 profit you want)
I know its bigger stakes but in 20 days I have made £83 - 166% profit. I have been very strict, no silly bets, no over betting, sticking to the system and if the last odds on bet is at 7pm but there are still 20 games left, then so be it, i stop betting until the next day.
Not doing any research lol, just backing teams i have never heard of!!
I am using Betfair as i feel these are better odds
Feel free to follow me, comment or have a go yourself.
I will try and post my selections pre match but i am at work most of the day so i will post my betfair profit and loss each day
I will post my profit and loss sheet from betfair to show upadate profit from 1st of jan then i will post daily profit sheet

You started with a £4 bet then next was a £12 bet and if that lost presumably a £30 bet would follow and then a £70 bet or have i got that wrong ?? |

haha.... yup bound to lose... but hey its £50 and its just a laugh... if i get upto £500 i'll be happy.... seen loads of those "all in" style threads, rather than all in on every bet i get about 4 chances if things go wrong

just lay rooney to score (OR SOMEONE ELSE )in every game.Or some other striker @ 1/1.
it will not be long before your striker fails to score and you will get 2 quid more. Laying teams to win could catch you out but most strikers fail to score on a regular basis. You can thank me later, good luck to you,but if you do as I say it will take a while,but you should run it up to 10 grand and increase stakes when you realize this system can not be beaten. |

 wishes you well and I hope you achieve your goal.It just shocks me that 99% of gamblers have little knowledge of true odds and betting in general. Odds are the most serious aspect of gambling. I've got to take them seriously. I got 33/1 on a bet from a bookie when I knew that the true odds were approximately 3/1. That's how I make my money, by spotting major errors. Still following the thread! |

sorry i take it back... its just that people love to jump in and tear a thread apart when they know full well what i was saying... rather than arsenal v crewe i should have said i will back arsenal everytime at 1.40 - 1.69..as i said its just a bit of fun, but i think with a bit more research on the teams rather than just picking any game i might stand more of a chance... dont know how long i will last picking teams like teams in the kazakhstan u19 womens 3rd divsion, and if that divison does not exist please dont bother to post and tell me that i dont know anything about football. i'm being sarcastic |

Not posted on this thread before but have been following it. Pleased it's working so far but wanted to say dont give yourself targets of say £200 or £300 as that may lead you to lose your discipline. You're doing great, keep it up.

This is the first time I have posted on the football forum (thought it'd be full of bs and no mark armchair grunters).
Now and again I leave the darts forum (taking a hiatus) and go on a little trawl through chit chat. I enjoy reading threads like this regardless of the sport, as the OP leaves his bollocks dangling for ridicule. E.G. Derek McGowan daily bet in the mirror. He got absolutely slaughtered by many. Though these clever ones couldn't/wouldn't post up their own daily tips. Why? Because it's hard as feck to retain a profit backing one selection a day, with odds on shots day after day, or any odd for that matter, and you'll become the latest laughing stock. Go on, try it! Another sub human punter distracting/taking advantage of a cashier just doing their job. I don't want to burst your bubble but if the bet was placed in a bookie's shop with an epos machine, the true odds when the bet was struck will show up regardless what odds are on your slip and you'll be paid out accordingly. However, If the odds have been signed off by the cashier you'll be in a better position for a payout, though your card will be marked the next time you try placing a bet with said bookie in town.
