They are playing in the worst group, if that helps, however all you can do is beat the teams and England have played 7 games, plus the 2, against no hopers San Marino and won the lot, so you can't really ask for any more than that, apart from the 10th straight win. Are we the best team in Europe, not by a long way, but it will be interesting to see, if a confident England side, can actually go further than the Group stage. If we can do that, then at least there will have been some improvement, as the Euro Championship, is generally harder, than the World Cup, as the lesser teams are far better than the lesser teams, at the World Cup.

Strachan's a real wee shrewdie. He's saving Scotland for the world Cup.

Fifa ratings are what let England get easy draws that they are able to qualify from

Wales would beat England
Bale against Clyne, Cahill. Doesn't bear thinking about. |

UEFA make millions out of england qualifying so they're always going to make sure england get there.
they know england aren't great so they make it easier and easier for england to get there. it must be getting embarrassing for england fans knowing they need to get all these small teams in their group to make sure they qualify. |

Why would it be an improvement? I agree it may have been true in the past but think you may be forgetting there are now 24 teams in the Euro's. Surely that makes it an easier competition to get out of the group stages than the World Cup especially as a country can finish third in the group and still qualify for the second round. You could quite easily have a team qualifying for the second round that had lost two games and only drawn one. |

No I wouldn't, there's only so many times the tyres on my Ferrari 488 GTB can run over heroin needles before bursting, not that I would ever be seen dead in such a deadbeat area.

Could England end up in the same group as Wales, Northern Ireland, and possibly Ireland.
And if so, could be all die laughing? |
|
By:
Ireland just another foreign bus and of little interest to us English fans.
That 0-0 friendly in the summer still has the fans dozing off just thinking about it. O'Neill a gash manager with gash players. |
