Should be around later.  It is the lamest match betting markets ever.  Owen (Nocko) the Hills compiler got his genuine odds posted by the firm on Monday. The percentages he uses on Scottish non-league stuff are hideous. What has then happened is not one of the other firms has taken a view about any fixture. They have all virtually copied and pasted and maybe allowed an extra fraction due to their better percentages.
Only Stan James (In the last couple of hours) have actually offered any more markets than match betting. As it happens far too many markets for me to digest yet.
The fixtures themselves are horrible. Lots of nasty shortish odds on aways that could easily kill the Acca hunters.
No major ricks because someone with knowledge has led the market.
Particularly galling is that McBookie cannot even display their own odds as they have to share the VC platform.
McBookie had taken a substantially different view on at least 3 of the games. Dont expect VC traders to let Mcbbookie compiler change the odds.

I am moaning like hell but still expect to win ExcitedExcited

best shortie - cove to beat banks'o dee - big local derby, both were bigshot junior teams before cove went to highland league

best outsider - hawick ra at home to beat huntly, because huntly are desperately poor this year (and indeed past few) and living off past glories

stolen from Wiki

Cove were formed in 1922 and played in the local amateur leagues until 1985, when they became a junior team. However, the club applied and were accepted to the senior Highland Football League in 1986, where they have played ever since. They have also racked up a formidable reputation in the lower rounds of the Scottish Cup, reaching the 3rd round three times. In 2001 they won their first Highland League championship – but even more impressively won the quadruple of Highland League, Aberdeenshire Shield, Scottish Qualifying Cup, and Highland League Cup.

Sorry guys real lack of time and have to go out early tomorrow to pick up a shiny new car.
For now i'm not going to make any comments on the handicaps, win to 0, score both halfs etc. Some of my comments will lead to have a go yourself.
The games I am very confident which can at least land us a reasonable acca are as follows.

Banks of Dee (North Juniors) v Cove Rangers (HL)  Cove 2/5 best price.  Cove are flying in the highland league with 9 wins from 9 games played. That includes a 3-0 drubbing of high spending Brora. They have played both the qualifying rounds including smashing St Cuthberts 7-2 in the last round. Banks of Dee are from the North region Juniors and only get in due to having a qualifying license !! They started the season with a bang and I have backed them to win the title. However North Juniors are frankly of a poor standard. They have also lost their last 2 matches. In the league last week and significantly a 4-1 midweek defeat in a local area cup tie against a highland league team Inverurie.  Cove had actually just won at Inverurie in the league the saturday before. Dees previous ties against decent HL opposition have seen a 5-0 dumping last season at Brora, and a 5-1 defeat at Inverurie.  Comfortable Cove win for me. Possibly to nil.

Lothian Thistle (EOS) v Kelty Hearts (East Juniors)  Kelty 1/2 best price. Lothian from the weak East of Scotland league defeated a moderate Junior team Girvan after a replay in the preliminary round. They suffered a 4-1 hammering in their league last week. Kelty are the East Junior champs and are an outfit full of senior experience. Their 1st excursion in the prelim so them winning easily 4-0 at Civil Service who are in the same league albeit weaker than Lothian. Kelty have had to play all of their games this season so far away from home, as a 4G surface is being installed. Only 1 defeat on opening day sees them topping the table and looking capable of defending their title. I expect them to win by a couple although they have conceded a few this season.

Gala Fairydean Rovers (LL) v Linlithgow Rose (East Juniors)  Linlithgow 8/15 best price.  Gala play in the lowland league and are on a poor run with only 1 win in 6 and that against the bottom team Threave. They have faced a junior team twice in the Scottish and been well beaten both times. Classy Linlithgow only get in from the juniors this season via the licensing. They are unbeaten in the superleague this season and hitting form at the right time. Last season they held championship Raith Rovers for a long time after demolishing LL Dalbeatie in an earlier round. Dalbeatie are a better outfit than Gala. Another comfortable win for me although again may concede 1.

Threave (LL) v Stirling Uni (LL)  Stirling 4/9 best price. This is fairly easy to summarise. Struggling Threave have 1 win in their last 23 matches. 8 straight losses. Last week they lost 4-1 to YES Stirling Uni ! The tax dodgers are on a 5 game unbeaten run including beating last seasons champs Edinburgh City. Critically Threave have been playing a lot of trialist who are not eligible for this tie. I expect a similar result to last week.

Formartine (HL) v Gretna (LL)  Formartine 2/5 best price.   So after a run of 4 kiss of death odds on away shots, a change of policy. Formartine top the Highland League with 8 wins in a row, including a 2-0 victory at Brora. Gretna are no mugs in the Lowland League but they do tend to struggle on the road with only 1 win in last 9 away games. Lets face it this is a long trip. I expect at least a 2 goal victory.

Spartans (LL) v Coldstream (EOS)  Spartans 1/4 best price.  Surely a safe banker for the line. Spartans suddenly hitting top form in the LL with 3 wins in a row against a moderate team from a poor league. Spartans who beat Morton in last years competition should win this tie easily. Coldstream have not won a tie for many years and have taken part in the glorious -4 handicap bets of previous years. They actually denied me a 9-0 correct score in a 9-1 defeat in the famous 100k year.

Now thats where I believe the acca ends for now.
I have heard from that reliable source above wickerman that Dalbeatie travel without a back four !!! to Fraserburgh. The broch are a reasonable bet at 4/6 and are in better form than the visitors. Wicker could maybe post if a good thing.

Maybe back tomorrow with any news.
Also Cumbernauld Colts (LL) play Glasgow Uni (Amateurs) on sunday and my nerves would not allow 24 hours of potential waiting. The home team should win easily at 1/4

Done the above 6 in 'win by more than 2' 'win both halves' 'win to nil' and some exotic correct score doubles, SBA and the Scottish Cup owe me nothing, :) cheers

hi Nocko , i had BSC 5/1 on my tissue ,according to twitter they have signed  3 decent players  ,Talbot 1/6 fair enough away to Hermes in the last round but this is a step up , BSC have lost there last  4 but seemed to play well enough going down to spartans and edinburgh City

We're excited to officially announce the signings of Mark Dryden, Gerard Traynor, and Del Moore! Please join us in as we welcome the talented trio ahead of this weekends Scottish Cup First Round match versus Auchinleck Talbot F.C. ::

Just been in the Will hill shop in Chelmsford town centre , they wouldn't take the acca, singles only, the girl was apologetic and I explained I couldn't get the bet on their website due to spouse imposed restrictions and its ridiculous that their not taking bets on their sponsored competition. Went into pp and got on easy.
