last season, city won 2 away games 1-0 and drew 2 away games 1-1. 2 out of 19 suggests odds of 9.5 for both those scores. any other city away win, last season won 4 times in 19 matches. suggesting odds of 4.75 how were these bets stat related?  |

lol how are last years results meaningless? its fairly hard to go on this seasons results...
last season man city had 2 1-1 draws away. the season before, they had 2 1-1 draws away. the season before that, they had 1 1-1 draw away. thats 5 1-1 draws away in 57 matches. 1 in 11.4 matches. the premier league average for all teams in those 3 years is one 1-1 draw in 10.75 matches. as man city are one of the favourites for the title, what makes them now more likely to get 1-1 draws than they have been in the last 3 years? EPL total league average (all teams) last 3 seasons: 1-1 draw - 1 in 10.75 1-0 away win - 1 in 12.66 man city average last 3 seasons: 1-1 away draw - 1 in 11.4 1-0 away win - 1 in 19 west brom average last 3 seasons: 1-1 home draw - 1 in 8.14 (though none at all last season) 0-1 home loss - 1 in 14.25 if either of those bets were value at 9.0, id love to know why? |
