Kean your run of 145 what did you build it up to,and did you lose it all,or had you taken some out.

I started for fun on the first day of August,have currently got 5 on the bounce and my tenner is now 16.30,however I am not strictly laying 0-0 but am varying it,but to same odds.

Fifty K will come in handy for Christmas .

ive had a bit success lately lay the fav 1-0..hope for early goal, either bet up...or next goal wins.

i had thought about laying everybody to win 1-0 then backing back whoever scored first, but the high odds of underdogs probably makes that a long term losing strategy. maybe just lay the 1-0 for strong favourites and not the other team. even if its 1-0 at half time, the odds wouldnt be that short cos theyd be expected to score again. 0-0 at half time would be a bit of a disaster though.

Uruguay 0-0 Jordan - odds 110 to lay - finished 0-0.
Cambridge Utd 0-0 Man Utd - odds to lay 25 - finished 0-0.
Liverpool v Bolton 0-0 - odds to lay 22 - finished 0-0.

Those three examples of horrors above and the countless 0-0 matches must have hit people hard at high odds, however, be assured that everybody wins on Betfair.

The biggest winner on Betfair with 5% to 7% commission on winnings and 20% to 60% premium charges is err - BETFAIR PLC.

This is the only bet i do. back over 0.5 at 1.10

Not very successful. have had some good runs but they all end in tears

Basically, i start on €50 and 110 games later (10 games a week for 11 weeks) and i would have €1,091,000 approx.

Sounds easy, should be easy and can be easy - it's down to patience..

BTW, @Westender, i got burnt on all 3 of those games you mentioned above...

But all were avoidable. There is no rush... best way to do it is avoid cup games or meaningless games and 2nd legs if team is 5-0 up from first leg (Uruguay vs Jordan)

i layed 0-0 in the WC final between Holland and Spain in 2010.  Did it for all my bank, which was plenty.    The very words 'laying the 0-0' now brings me out in hives..

Laying 0-0 in the Celtic game is only 8.2 at KO

The high odds do not represent the level of risk in many matches. (eg Celtic tonight at 8.2 just as likely than Hull v Man Utd at 17)

decided to try the opposite for this season...i will be backing "no goalscorer" in the FGS markets for live games on sky.

with average odds of 12 to 14 i reckon will need one to come in every 10 games or so to make a few bags of sand...seems easy enuff...i even get a win if it's 1-0 with an OGGY

Barcelona at home... you need to wait about 35 mins before you get matched. Sometimes the odds tells you what you need to know. Like if back 0.5 is starting at greater than 1.10 then i try stay clear, with some exceptions like the colombian league...

You need to know your leagues.

Chile is best in South America for goals. Games start at 1.04 or 1.05 though.

Ricer plate and argentian games start around 1.12 or higher. Brazil league 1 & 2 starts about 1.11 too. Botafogo top of brazil div 2 and drew 2 of their last 3 games 0-0 i think...

In Europe, france is rubbish for goals with odd exception, dutch league usually great for goals. I stay away from germany too with obvious exceptions

there were threads on this before, you just need to be careful and disciplined as a loss will hit hard and two or three can wipe you out. But consider this: why do it at or before kick off? how many games have a goal in the first 5, 10, 15? Try to work out a smart entry point after kick-off at a better price. There is no way that kick-off is the smartest time for every game

Absolutely. I am just giving a guide to what leagues start with low odds and ehat start with high. I usually do 1.10 so sometimes i am waiting 5 mins to match and sometimes i am waiting 30-40 mins before it gets to 1.10...

Celtic are only worth doing, at home, in Scotland. They are defo not a certainty to either score or win away to a tricky european team.

There is no logic to the odds at times.

I stated above that Celtic tonight to lay 0-0 was 8.4 and Hull v Man Utd was 17.

Both were absolute stinkers but at least Celtic had 2 shots at goal compared to zero chances in the Man Utd game.

You wait until 35 mins to lay 0-0 in Barca games but the damage is usually done by then.

discipline is most important !  I am starting a similar challenge type thing mixing horses place only and 0.5 goals when the footy season starts this weekend  and a maximum of 2 bets a day , suggest clearing account and leaving only your starting stake in i.e £20-£50 -£100 or whatever comfortable with ! discipline is key as with the odds so low the temptation is to try to get the bank up too quickly and chase on bets that have not been well thought out ! also suggest that when bank gets to a certain point for instance £20 start when or if hitting say £200 then withdrawing £50 and continue with the £150 ,that will ease the burden a bit and whatever way it goes after the withdrawell then a profit is assured  ,also when stakes get high the pressure increases and mistakes are likely.
also temptation when in profit to chase winnings needs to be tempered ! it wont be easy but I am giving it a pop not setting any targets yet and will see how it goes ,good luck any who participate and input is appreciated !

i wait for better prices in-play, never take SP. But most of my bets are above evens in the last 15 mins. Can't understand why people back overs at SP, must be at least 7/10 times it goes higher at some point.And that's just the winners, obv all losers will go higher too.

Johor Darul Taksim from Malaysia are rarely on bf but were today. I have never seen a team with more goals in their games on 45 mins or 45+ inj time. Likewise Melgar in Peru in 81st minute. with Darul it must be fixed, uncanny otherwise

no such thing as a safe 0-0 lay. everybody draws 0-0 sometimes, pretty much at random.

like any betting, its all about the price to the probability of something happening.
the dangerous thing about laying 0-0 is you can have incredible runs of wins. then you get cocky and double or triple your stakes and hit 4 0-0s on the trot and get wiped out.

6/6 For me now,I laid 0-0 in Ba v Nadi after 25 minutes actually matched at 8.8.I am looking at possibly doing two games if odds are much bigger than 10 in certain games,to keep up to speed,but we shall see.

Discipline is the biggest problem I am now finished for the day and its not even time for elevenses yet.

I think it is a mistake to rigidly stick to 0-0,yesterday for example cska were 2-0 down early doors in the champions league qualifier and 4-2 down on aggregate against an inferior opposition,it offered an opportunity,I was finished at that stage but it was an opportunity,whereas celtic the 0-0 was always a realistic outcome,as celtic did not need to score,and quarabang were not able to.

But yesterday i avoided obvious games that people might pick like

Karabaq vs Celtic
Bayern vs Real Madrid
Chelsea vs Fiorentina

I know 2/3 above came in but any of those could have been 0-0

I use flashscore app for all of my games.... all leagues available and head to head and current form and lineups essential before choosing your game

I start on €50. Here is a rough guide of how many games it will take to get to a million, depending on commission.

Best thing to do is not look at is as money. Like don't think that you only made €4 from your first game.

Think of plan like 10 games a week for 11 weeks (my plan) and the money sorts itself out.

When these threads bomb - and they all do - it always amuses me to see people saying that they crashed because they lost discipline, neglecting to mention that it was exactly the same ill discipline that got them their profits to date and their luck simply ran out.

To make money at betting, you need to bet on wrong prices that are sufficiently wrong as to yield a profit over time.  That's it.  Bound to be plenty of losers along the way, so going all in on every bet is an easy way to blow your bank.

Yeah it is Rob, but sure if you start with a low enough stake and keep going all in, just accept from the start that you most likely will never see that money again. If you go on a good run, then so be it.....anyone can bank at any stage too. each to their own i guess though.

Good morning today sees a lot of games as per usual and one will do me,tomorrow there will be hundreds of opportunities and to pick two or three on a Saturday may be easier than trying to find one on a non descript Monday,and therein lies one of the quandarys in trying to make this work and at the same time retain discipline.

7/7 bank up to 20.40 backed 0ver 1.5 in Hoverla yth v Metalurg Z yth when the score was 1-0, at price of 1.11 after approximately 25 minutes.

Long term this can't work but a run of 70 would be nice. I am interested in how pajjo operates,but I can't stress how difficult I am finding it to maintain discipline.

I don't usually do too well, but that's down to my impatience. So, 10 a week is the new current plan... I started this time on €50 and i am up to €124 after 10 games which i started last Thursday. if you are going to bet full bank each time you will fail, that's not the way to do it. Do it for a while and then change once you've made a bit. If i get to 996k (or anywhere near that) i'm not going to risk it all to win 10k and i'm not going to get matched either

My prdiction results last year ...1st. long run (getting filled) 54 games, next 40 games ..
At say 50 games start with £100 bank :-
compounded at 1.10 = £9,347.73 
compounded at 1.12 = £22,093.25
compounded at 1.15 = £78,128.67
takes into account Betfair 5% commission.
I'm using excel fomula =SUM(E21*0.1425+E21)for calcs.
But let's be realistic guys ...from memory amounts matched on 0.5 goals around £250k ? total
so any bets over £10,000 - don't know how long it would take you to get "filled"

Afternoon gents, 8/8 backed over 0.5 goals in Manchester United v Tottenham Hotspur at 1.1 after about 15 minutes or so,I didn't realise they had scored so soon after I placed the bet.

Surely being patient and picking the games that could possibly be 0-0 or a method of back to lay is a better option. If you say you know which games to avoid the possibility of 0-0's in just back them?

do your homework on the 0 0 , have a look at its stats and odds and you wont get involved. Theres better scorelines to get involved with.

I find it pretty easy and relatively low risk to make 10% or more trading/scalping unders late in a game eg when the ball goes out for a GK or when there's a substitution. You should use trading software tho as you have to be quick. You can do this in way more games than you'll select as a 0-0 lay. why don't you try something like that? you might have to scalp a few times in a match but it's far easier once you familiarise yourself with the way the markets move and the trading software ladder interface.

Look at the stongest v Blooming , the 0 0 was 25/1 now its 6/1 at ht.. what would you do if you layed the 0 0 at those odds. It would take you 25 games to make it back. Can you then manage 25 games without hitting a 0 0 ? probably not as 1 in 10 roughly is a 0 0.

Done okay backing the 0-0 this weekend.

That's why if you set a maximum price of 10 then maybe it can work,not sure what price arsenal game went to before the goal,but probably less than 10,I like to watch the game develop and take a stand when I am happy with the price.

Day 10 and still standing. I laid 0-0 in Army XI v Southern Samity FC this morning,I got matched at 8.8 and almost immediately there was a red card,which really threw a spanner in the works,the price on 0-0 then plummeted.The goal arrived in the second half,and the game actually finished 1-2.

Bank stands at 28.40,and so onto the next phase of ten games,wish me luck.

Fair point,the sums at the moment are so small it doesn't really warrant it,when/if I get up to 500 then I will stick them up.One issue with putting them up before,is getting matched,nearly all my bets have been in running,so I could cluster the thread with unmatched bets.

I won't be lying either,if I get blown out,then I will be straight up about it,we are not all schoolboys on this forum.

Afternoon gents, as things stand I have 12/12 and a bank of 35.30. I laid 0-1 in the Gamba Osaka/River Plate game yesterday,and today after not getting matched in the Urawa Red Diamonds game,I laid 1-0 in the Beijing Guoan game at 8.8.

I think this will be my last post for a couple of reasons.In order to get matched at 1.1 most bets will be in running,and therefore I can't pre post the selection,as I can't be sure of getting matched.There are times when an opportunity arises and must be taken,which I can only put up after the event.

I am also studying the markets carefully,so I could easily change my mind on a selection,if I am not happy with what the markets tell me.

The other reason contrary to the thread title,I am not solely laying 0-0,of the twelve bets placed so far,only six have been laying 0-0,the others a mix of mainly laying 1-0 or 0-1 in running.

This will inevitably lead to cries of aftertimer,and then subsequently the thread will be yielded worthless.

If anyone enquires at how it is going I will be happy to report it on this thread,and if it goes pear shaped I will come on here to report the same.

I will look in from time to time,to see how it is looking,and good luck to one and all.

The only time I would put a large bet on laying the 0-0 is when a high scoring team in form is playing at home against a piss-poor side playing their 3rd choice goalkeeper and with both their 1st choice centrebacks suspended.

ive tried the over 0.5 goals betting,in fact ive tried every other thing as well, always seem to get undone, problem laying though is that you are risking more so any losses are usually gunna put you further behind the eight ball.
