Struggling to see outside Mexico or USA & both can be backed at 7-4. It's a dutch that isn't going to make you enormously wealthy but even so…
There have been 12 GCs - USA have won 5, Mexico 6. Only Canada in 2000 have broken their stronghold.
Costa Rica had a good WC last year but will likely end up playing USA in the semi-final. The USA are playing at home, & have been playing really well under Klinsmann.
Mexico have saved their best squad for this after taking their 'B' squad to the Copa America.

I reckon the drift is due to the fact they are missing some important players for this cup Navas,Urena,Tejada and Duarte are not there.Bolanos retired and the manager Pinto left aswell, Wanchope doesn't have much experience.

Most of El Salvadors players are home based.Trust me, the league there is terrible.Don't know much about Canada but I think they have brought a fairly young team.

I'm in Cali, Colombia right now.I have lived in Latin America for a few years on and off.
Yeah mate, fluently.Its actually probably the easiest language to learn.Trust me, I was terrible at languages in school.But, living in the country makes a huge difference.
Especially, in places like San Salvador where there are almost no foreigners and next to nobody speaks English.
Being immersed in it constantly makes it so much easier.Obviously you have to study it too but it makes a huge difference.

so you can get by but it would be nice to be able to speak spanish..wanted to meet a girl here or across the border or find someone for one on one lessons but not managed yet
Yeah, would be tough in the UK.Here's a tip...download the Simpsons in Spanish with English subtitles.Listen to music in Spanish etc.

Downloaded Mexican ranchera music etc.

i try using duolingo you ever used that> the app on my phone and also the website..and some people say mesmerised is good
Pimsluer series is decent too.Should be able to get it from a torrent site.
Never heard of Duolingo.When I was learning was just pimsluer and another one called roseta stone I think.

Latin American Spanish is much easier to pronounce.Spanish people make this lisping sound which doesn't exist in the Americas.
It sounds much nicer.Spanish from Spain sounds very harsh.

If I had to go for something I'd say Canada.
It's just that the Salvadoran league is so weak.I know Honduras played really well with a lot of home based players.
But, the Honduran league is much better.They have a few decent teams there.

Looks like Cuba will have to make do with the 16 players they have.So far no news about the others having arrived.Means that they will have to play an outfield player in goal because the only available keeper (Sandy Sanchez) is suspended.

lay bet on 0-0 when the odds were 5.7 at the end of first half between Mexico and Gautemala. Earlier lost a cricket bet on CPL. Now tried to make my 200£ back from the CPL loss and lost a 1000£. Totally feel depressed and think betting is not for me. Should have bet on djokovic to win wimbledon but second guessed myself after Federer thrashing Murray and beleiving in destiny and one last great effort from Federer. Damn my world is collapsing. :(

My luck is shocking, second half goal on Deportivo Cali, Over 1.5 Vancouver game and lay 0-0 Mexico game.. I mean how unlucky can you be! This is the name of the game though I guess I know the risks involved.
how much have you lost Blockfire, I think the lure for extra cash is too alluring and eventually what ever you win you lose it and more later down the line. :(
0-0 lay must have been heavy if you did it at the start.

the problem is when you try to make that money back and lose more. This has happened to me in this match trying to win back my 200£ lost in the earlier bet I have lost 1k in the process.
for the first time I tried to be brave and not cash out and that just backfired. The odds quickly dropped to 3.5 and I decided to carry on with my bet hoping against hope a goal will come but hell no.

4 what its worth my advice would be to use the deposit/loss limits ,gradually wind down over a period of time .

At 20 minutes into the 1st half, the odds for over 1.5 had drifted badly, so I thought it was value to back it... fecked.
Also backed USA -1... fecked
And the icing on the cake, backed 0-0 at HF to trade out in 5 minutes for a few ticks win. USA scored minute 47... fecked.
All the winnings from the last 2 weeks from betting with discipline, all gone in just one fecking game, in which I had no intentions to get involved.

Sorry to hear that things have gone so wrong for a lot of people here.
My advice is just to make sure that you only gamble what you can afford to lose. Set yourself aside a budget from your work salary each month and assume that you'll vapourise it in its entirety (and enjoy whatever you win/manage to hold on to)
A major problem with gambling is that the stuff that would make you a good gambler (discipline, patience etc.) is so antithetical to what attracts people to gambling in the first place!
The one thing I would say however is its no disgrace whatsoever to lose money gambling and its not a sign of a lack of intelligence. One of the smartest people I know (1st in Maths from Russell Group uni - started at PWC on £31500 p/a aged 22) was a horrendous gambler and had to ban himself. Its an addiction like any other and if it becomes a problem, then you either quit, or learn to live with your addiction.
Don't beat yourself up about it. Never trust a man with no vices!

those 3 games stuffed me up too on monday,i have good runs but in the end it seems to beat you and that haiti v usa game was another that didnt go to plan,sometimes its only a game or two that blows us of course,it was never as simple as it appeared to be.
