Struggling to see outside Mexico or USA & both can be backed at 7-4. It's a dutch that isn't going to make you enormously wealthy but even so…

There have been 12 GCs - USA have won 5, Mexico 6. Only Canada in 2000 have broken their stronghold.

Costa Rica had a good WC last year but will likely end up playing USA in the semi-final. The USA are playing at home, & have been playing really well under Klinsmann.

Mexico have saved their best squad for this after taking their 'B' squad to the Copa America.

Chicarito and Hector Moreno are out for Mexico. Both of them will be big loses.
Mexican coach is under big pressure after the Copa America debacle, if they dont win it he is gone.

Its hard to find much information about the competition but this youtube channel does previews of the games...The first one is Haiti vs Panama.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_11Tr7TDozo

Like that guy was saying Haiti might not be too bad of a bet at 7 against Panama.
I know Panama got to the final last year but 1.62 seems awful short on them.Haiti don´t seem at all terrible. In the last two years they got a draw against Italy and lost by a single goal to both Spain and Chile.

A lot of their players are playing in Europe albeit mostly lower leagues.
I remember Panama struggling against Martinique in the gold cup two years ago, maybe Haiti could spring a surprise.
Anyway, here are the respective squads...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panama_national_football_team#Current_squad

I dont know much about either, and i could be totally wrong. But, is there really that much between them?

That is about the only preview I could find for Haiti.
Besides those mentioned they also have a guy called Jeff Louis who plays for Standard Liege.
Lille, St Etienne and Rennes are all reportedly after him.

Another guy, Donald Guerrier who plays in Poland is reportedly being pursued by Dortmund. So they can't be too bad.

Six Cuban players along with the managert Raul Gonzalez are still stuck in Cuba due to visa issues!!They are training with only 16 players at the moment.
Since 2002, 21 Cuban players have deserted during or after the gold cup to claim political asylum (which the United States are obliged to give to any Cuban that reaches the US

Cuba are without a goalkeeper at the moment Shocked
Of the three listed in the squad Arguellez and Guerra are still in Havana, whereas the other one Sandy Sanchez is suspended for the Mexico game.
They have also had their first desertion.

I reckon the drift is due to the fact they are missing some important players for this cup Navas,Urena,Tejada and Duarte are not there.Bolanos retired and the manager Pinto left aswell, Wanchope doesn't have much experience.

Yeah map.It happens every gold cup.Thing is if a Cuban gets to America they can stay.Due to the embargo, the Americans can't deport them.

Most of El Salvadors players are home based.Trust me, the league there is terrible.Don't know much about Canada but I think they have brought a fairly young team.

Other than that, I lived in El Salvador for a while!Great people, unfortunately suffering from horrific violence.
So, for me no bet. But, I would be delighted if El Salvador could get something Excited
