Germany were incredibly lucky to get through against the French - how they missed that open goal in ET is still beyond me. Choking feckers.

Still can't bring myself to back the US, surely Germany can't be as bad as they were the other night.

Both of these would smash the Englishers anyway, so I guess it doesn't matter too much.

scrap that.

Think Germany should edge this as long as they don't perform how they did vs france,

Germany aren't playing France but there's not much between any of the top 3.

fwiw I was reading an article in the Independent about the Lionesses.  It referred in the article about "Bend It Like Beckham"  In that the dream was to win a scholarship to the US to play in the USWL.  In the USA the boys play American Football and Baseball whilst the girls play Soccer and Softball.  Whereas in this country the men play soccer and the girls play netball or hockey.  That explains why the US women are so much better than the English women.

The English women have done fantastic and they are punching above their weight.  They've had a very favourable draw and the luck has gone their way in two very even encounters.  It would be so ironic if they were to win this giving the men always under achieve.

Not been impressed by the USA throughout this tourney, on Germany in 90 mins.

I think the Bosch are flat track bullies (which isn't good for England if they meet in the final) They weren't the same team against France and they won't be the same team against the US. I'm expecting a very even game.

I expect the USA to qualify. I expect Megan Rapinoe to effect the game for the USA, whether it be by setting up the goal or scoring the goal.
