No o/r on here with the match odds 2.04 for Rangers with the draw 3.70 and Motherwell 4.20
I expect Rangers to win 2-0 with a game plan similar to that taken against Hibs in the first match.

A small chance I'd say aka. With McCulloch coming in he's terrified of being done for pace so they'll be defending their 18 yard box and the midfield will struggle to get up and support the strikers. Would guess Boyd will play and they'll resort to long ball football. Can't see Motherwell not scoring.

Agreed but still a chance. was listening to John Hartson say before the Hibs second game that a 2 goal lead is the hardest to defend.

from what i've seen/been told pace absolutely destroyed rangers tonight, can only see that favouring motherwell in the 2nd leg.

Definitely was the pace that troubled them. Rangers have none throughout the team especially the centre of defence.

It was a strange game though. First 25 minutes Rangers dominated and Motherwell were terrible offering nothing. Then they score 2 and Rangers fall out the game. First 15 minutes of the second half Motherwell look to be cruising then McCall throws on the wide players, Motherwell suddenly decide to drop right on top of their goalie and allow Rangers to dominate. The wide players are allowed yards of space and start throwing cross after cross in. No idea why the Motherwell players were standing 10 yards away from them when the crosses were Rangers biggest threat. They could easily have scored at least another goal in the last 20 minutes.
