Hi guys
Travelling by car to Wembley on Sunday from Preston. What's people's best advice on where to park? Is it better to park near a tube station and tube part of the journey?

Thanks

Plenty of parking within 1/2 mile if you arrive 4 hours before KO

Thanks Clarky, I'll have a look at that.
Westender, won't getting out be an issue parking close to the stadium ?

Wouldn't park too near the ground. Often takes an hour or more to go 50 yards afterwards.

Suggestions so far have been decent but I'd add Harrow. Always used to be ok for parking and it's just a short hop on the tube from Harrow-On-The-Hill to Wembley Park.

DDuck only trouble with advice given so far is you have to get on the tube which means a long slow queue, best bet but not the cheapest is go on the internet and look up the "Green man" pub. Think you can now book online giving your car reg for an allocated parking space, you can have a drink there food orders take a while. After the match when leaving turn left and just get away from Wembley. Hope this helps and good luck.

The Green Man Pub is brilliant. The biggest beer garden I've ever seen, and always a cracking atmosphere. Preston have got the Green Man Pub for Sunday as well.

I've got to work on Sunday. I'm gutted. I went to uni in Preston (1994-97) and would have been at Wembley this weekend if I didn't have to work Sad

Don't get behind and follow any cars with Newcastle allegiance because then you'll never get to Wembley !

Remember to stop off at Wycombe to get Money Tree's tip for the game.

trouble is parking in the station car park can take hours to get out.parking on the streets outside heavily restricted and a nightmare.

when leicester had all those play off finals and league cup finals in the 90's

we used to park at watford either the street or the station then get the train to wembley central which is a not a tube train so plenty of room.this will save you so much time if you want to get away from the traffic especially if its a hot day

plenty of wetherspoon pubs when you get off fast food outlets kfc etc then make your way to green man which by the time you get there may of run out of beer, then all the off licences run out of beer

Last time we used Park of my Drive.  Parked about 10 mins walk away.  Paid about £15-20.

Nightmare to get in on a Friday night, but left on the final whistle, jogged to the car and straight off, rapid without a hitch.
