If Chelsea sign a striker then 4th place is a straight fight between Arsenal and Tottenham  Here's another one that's noted.. LaughLaughLaugh   Crazy

I haven't heard any of my own Spurs circle think they can win anything significant this season although, admittedly, quite a number are expecting a top 4 finish; that much is true. If I were to hear any of them saying we'll do better I'd have to bring them straight down to earth, as it isn't happening any time soon. I agree that top 2 is out of reach, which should leave the 3 of us battling it out for the other 2 places. I would be shocked to see Utd join the fray, but stranger things have happened.

Arsenal are getting a little ahead of themselves after the Palace victory. Looking second best throughout the second half.. Nice easy start in August for the Arsenal, come Sept and October we'll have a reality check. I Thank you.

Gonna go for the w@nky catch phrase at the end of all posts from now on... I Thank you.  Crazy

I was surprised when I checked the "posi" stats at how Arsenal were the second best in the match.  They won though and their achilles heel for the last ten years at least has been their repeated poor starts to their seasons so any win first time out and away is very important.  Leicester at home next with every chance of scoring a few - they are conceding a lot with this present defence.  Two wins and they will gain confidence.
I admire Arteta and how he has fought off all the vicious and shocking abuse he was victimised with early last season - and said so on here at the time.  Good luck to him.
