Whats the deal about lets say delta - real madrid, you feck up and buy 0-0 at odds 1000, when the scores is 1-1 in the game, will this be void, or is it betfair offering layers a faulty way to win money from feck ups?

It's simply not settled until the end of the match. Backing 0-0 when it's 1-1, is basically a losing bet from the moment the ticker says 9.

the market is open so all bets count, buyer beware etc.

So in other words, its just bad luck you if you back 0-0 when score is 1-1.

So backing a bet already lost is possible for what reason id like to know.

Because other options are still viable. No markets are ever partly settled.

Sure the market is open for scores, but its not for say over 1,5 goal when score is 1-1, why not, 0-0 is a done bet when 1-1, so is over 1,5goals.

Some people purposely back 0-0 when it is 1-1 to green up and free up money

Allright i find it quite corrupt, and yeah i fecked up, free money for layer, wich is betfair themselves perhaps.

Over 1.5 has two options; over 1.5 and under 1.5. When it's 1-1; one is impossible the other a certainty. So the market is "conditionally" settled.

Correct score has 2-1, 3-1, AOH, AOD, AOA, etc which are still possible.

Like I say no market is ever partly settled.

The correct score market still has live runners in it so can't be partially settled

Both over 1.5 and under 1.5 are dead so no live runners at 1-1

Well there's a simple solution ganapati, don't back 0-0 when its 1-1 and you should be ok

on correct scores it has more options/outs, until they are all met then the market will stay open.

with over/unders its 50/50 and exact

but you do have a point.

@m chain & dario thanks for response.

So @dario its all down to the programming of the site perhaps, wich has a faulty loop hole for feck ups, people betting on already lost bet.

There's no faulty loop hole. Programming yes.

And it's Darlo not dario.

Only way a game could end up being 0-0 with the scores already at 1-1, is if Money Tree backed it to finish 1-1, hth

lots of markets are partly settled. Have a look at premier league winner or any other outright market. As soon as outcome is not possible it is settled. So why not correct score?

It's because its an exchange not a bookmakers. If you think about people laying multiple correct scores it becomes obvious why partially settling markets would be problematic. You could take out dead runners and the result could be to leave people with more liability than they have in their acounts.

Yes. You're right there. Longer term markets are partly settled. But they are suspended while they are being settled - which would be a nightmare on something like a correct score market.

I bet you thought you got great odds of 999/1 for 0-0 too, only to discover after you placed the bet it was already 1-1 Laugh

still its a lesson learnt.
