I have to admit I did like Clarkeson and his brash manner, he was great entertainment on Top Gear . But if this is true then there is no excuse for his thuggish behaviour and the Beeb should throw the book at him. I also think he should have the pants sued off him for assault.

Bbc make an awful amount off top gear. In fact Clarkson et Al are some of the few been employees worth their pay. It surely must be blindingly obvious to anyone that Clarkson is a wind up merchant who worked out about 20 yrs ago that the more outrageous things he said the more he got paid. He is a wind-up merchant who plays a caricature of himself on TV for money, but that's still who he is beneath the act. Off camera and on it. The nursery rhyme proves it. He just couldn't help himself from using the n word. Whether he makes money or not for the BBC is entirely immaterial. He punched an underling at work. That's the sack on the spot for anyone on this forum or anywhere else in the real world. This petition just goes to to show how far the concepts of right and wrong have fallen in this country. Basically if you entertain me then you can do what you like to others, including assaulting them over a steak. I wonder if Dave Cameron or AA Gill or any of the other rich, white, arrogant posho's would stand up for a lad in a tracksuit with nothing in his pocket who punched someone who worked in KFC?

What I seriously do not understand is this, a normal worker is responsible for paying for and obtaining his own meals. Why when on a 7 figure pick up is it the Beebs job to provide and pay for his food? He can afford a PA or Man Friday to sort out his nutritional needs. Aren't wages supposed to cover living and sustenance costs, food and clothing? Society is properly fukced up,minimum wage bods get two/four buses a day to travel to and from work. They are skint but getting to work is their issue,their expense. |
