Don't think Barca played particularly well...feel Pellegrini got the formation and tactics wrong from the start and City never recovered from it.

David Silva apart, the City midfield was made up of workhorses. So why didnt they close Barca down, work very hard to limit the space Barca had.
Instead they think its ok to sit deep and waited to get picked apart, and Barca obliged. You have to pressure the ball when you play against them. Not exactly rocket science is it. |
