big difference from playing in Norway than Spain, even if it's for Castilla. Lot's of supposed world beaters at a young age haven't turned out to be the real deal...not sure paying a young lad of 16 £80k will help development either!

£80k a week for any 16 year old no matter how good he is, is just obscene.

Perfectly illustrates everything that is wrong with football today.

He doesn't really. All he has to do is show the ''right attitude'' during his contract, go on loan to a few teams, then retire at twenty-two with the better part of £25m in the bank

What is 4m a year to a club like Madrid? If they sell him at any point during his contract they'll easily recoup their outlay and if he goes on to become a star then they've got a bargain.

80 grand a week might be selling himself short
after all the collective talent of costa, hazzard, fabregas, william, coached by the so called special one couldnt muster an attempt on goal between them against a bog average defensive at anfield this week, Wink

He doesn't need to, already hit the jackpot. Although, he isn't British so striving to be as good as you can be may well be a motto of his. The lazy bstards here think working hard is beneath them, they'd rather be dunking doughnuts in their coffee indoors in the warm, reading the celebrity gossip page in the sun, than freeze their precious nuts off for another few hours aimimg for major improvement.

4 million year is a staggering amount for a 16 year old. If the money derails him he probably doesn't have the mentality to make it at the highest level. I very much doubt he is getting the cash up front probably the majority is going in to a trust.

From Real's point of view its chicken feed if he turns out to be as good as they say he would cost a figure in excess of 100 million to buy.

So if he fails to make the first team in four years they can then sell him on for 16 million plus all the social cost and taxes which would make it over £20 million...

Not sure that some "pundits" are fit to post...
