Chelsea around 1.62 looks like a great price to me, last big punt before the festivities.
Stoke away not the fortress it use to be.
Good luck to all and MERRY CHRISTMAS

Ok fair enough I can't see past a chelsea win and a comfortable one at that, I thought they would be shorter to be honest GL

Yes, Have a great Christmas Humanjinx, I just have a rule never back odds on away teams, as I'm pretty sure they lose in the long run. Can I see, a Stoke win No, Can I see a Draw possibly, Chelsea the most likely winners.

Can see Chelsea rotating here with a tricky period coming up and may well settle for a draw.

As an aside you have Chelsea now level on points with last year's champions. Admittedly, Chelsea have a game in hand and have played most of their tricky away games but 1/2 for one and 9/4 for the other seems ridiculous. The market just hasn't caught up as City have relentlessly built up form and Chelsea stumbled.

Lay a home side at 6/1, thats the same as backing an away side at odds on, no thanks.

Surprised how little  faith there is in chelsea tonight!!!!  We shall see later on ......... Just feel chelsea will be desperate for win and 3 point lead at Christmas .....  GL

I hate these style of games, you got the big shot team full of goals against the dead beat team with no hope of winning anything anytime soon who would be happy with a 0-0 draw

it doesn't make for an exciting spectacle

Chelsea may seem full of goals, but they rarely go full tilt instead they just do enough each time.  which is why games like this are pretty dire.  once Chelsea get the lead, they will sit and wait; if another goal comes, it comes, but Mourinho won't risk a lead for the sake of entertainment

According to a few of our lot up there it was pretty blustery earlier. Pretty much the last conditions you'd want when you're playing them at their place. Don't think I'd be wanting to take the short price on us for that reason alone.

Its blustery everywhere, but chelsea play their football more so on the floor than them lot, so wouldnt affect my trading

Yep but if they're lumping long balls forward for Crouch then it's always helpful to know where the ball is going to land. Blustery conditions help that style of play.

Difficult weather conditions also tend to reduce the number of goals, since constructive play is harder.

A speculative bet on overs bookings. Stoke will try to impose their physical game - a challenge Mourinho will happily rise to. I can picture a few tasty encounters between the Stoke defence and Costa.

Ouch, overs is 1.95. Guess my theory is a popular one.

Stoke were a shambles against us, maybe they were suffering from the exertions against Arsenal, had 9 days rest since so would expect them to come out all guns blazing, early goal for them will hopefully make it a more entertaining match than appears likely, with Chelsea going in front in the second half to take all three points.
