hi ken im sure you will do it for me !!
|
By:
hello dragon, how did the last 4 seasons pan out in terms of profit ?
|
By:
hi Scandinavian , all seasons in profit some better than others, first year was amazing last 2 marginal.
this year i'm just posting selections with reasons for the selection, not getting involved in numbers as it causes too much grief on here, hopefully people will take it for what it is - selections with a reasoning - we will win some and lose some -- that's football -- but hopefully it will be interesting and fun along the way. hope you enjoy the selections. |
By:
Good on you dragon, keep it going and ignore the knockers. I'll keep an eye out for this thread nearer the weekend
|
By:
hi paul
great to hear from you again - yes more good guys tan bad guys on here lets hope we do well!!! |

The thing i find "hard to understand" is what people class as a "value bet" we all see it differently.
some see it as oddsbeing higher than the chances of the win as such I personally see "value" as a winning bet... whats the point of a 2.3 odds backed yet loses, but only backed as the odds should have been nearer 1.9 say.... Interested on what othrs class as "value" tbh mate.. Wishing you all the best of course. Hope its a good season mate |
By:
thanks gfi
I respect yoyur views, My value bet is a bet when the price is better tan you wd expect given the form of the two respect teams. i multipy my points rating v the price to give me the value bet |
By:
seems interesting, I will follow it and wish you well mate....
|
By:
thanks don't always get it right but its a genuine open and honest system which has worked well for me
Problem is i work too long hours so dont always have the time to post Roll on retirement !!! |
By:
good luck with this I will be checking n myself its impossible to call things 100 percent all the time so I will bounce ur selections off my own and hopefully u can make me some money to serious best of luck dragon

hi guys ,
Sorry i have not responded sooner been mad busy at work!!! Hi Alex good to hear from you m8 yes all well here, we should catch up over a pint sometime!! Here are my thoughts on the weekends football. My HIGHEST RATED bet is TORQUAY to beat Dover at 8/15(WH) unfortunately the price is skinny but that's for a good reason. Torquay have started very well to life in a lower league having won 5 out of their last six games scoring a creditable 13 goals and only conceding 2. Dover by contrast have lost 5 out of the last 6 with the only win against bottom of the league terrible telford. This should be a comfortable home win.. The other team I like at a better Price is CCHESTERFIELD who are away at Doncaster and are avaialble at 9/5 (BV). Like torquay Chesterfield have adjusted well to life in a new league and are unbeaten away from home with wins at Orient & Port Vale and draws with Fleetwood and Preston. They have scored 7 goals in 4 away games. They have only lost one game all season and that was against a strong MK Dons team. Doncaster by contrast have made a poor start to the season and have not won at home drawing 2 and losing 2. They have scored a meager 2 goals in 4 games and have conceded 6. They have only won 1 game in the last 6 and lost at home to port vale who are bottom and Oldham who are 513th in the League ( Chesterfield are 4th). I am hoping Chesterfield will be too strong for them I also like MKDONS, Norwich and WATFORD for a nice home treble. Good luck to all whatever you go for and I look forward to your comments. |
By:
Agree with both of those Dragon, good luck to you.

|
By:
No problem mate, keep up the good work, impressed so far with what you're achieving
|
By:
and likewise m8 impressive
|
By:
Swansea 8/5, Reading 3/1 and Forest 17/10 for me.
|
By:
Villa look a fair enough price with Both Teams To Score and a Villa win at 13/2 for me(Gunners having played Champions League during the week and looking very suspect at the back)
|
By:
Another winner for my system, around 40/41 winners :)
|
By:
ie, only one loss from 41 games
|
By:
great stuff gtfi
good luc Mary and stewards - good to hear from you both again and to have your contibutions |
By:
I like your Torquay and Chesterfield picks Dragon, bunged them in an acca with Lowestoft Town (They play Hyde who cant buy a win at the moment)
My other picks are Bristol City/ Leyton Orient / Peterborough (3 fold away punt). Any suggestions from an overs acca? Thanks |
By:
hi barney .
looks a decent away treble chance . dont do overs so no idea. try an ew bet on barnet fair for the ayr gold cup for an interest bet |
By:
thanks mate will look up the price - good luck this sfternoon
