What are you banging on about? Chambers is 3rd choice central defender at Arsenal behind Kos and Mert. That's not a bad place to be when you are just 19. He was never benched in the sense you make out.

He has not been bog average at all. In fact, apart from two poor decisions, he has been flawless since he made his debut. He reads the game brilliantly for one so young, is strong as an ox already, and is fearless in a challenge. He is a star in the making.

Considering the lack of talent in defence these days, he absolutely deserves his call up.

I'd say he's picked Rose simply because he has to pick someone and there's not much other option.

When will everyone in england realise changing the manager every few years will not help. We havent got any world class footballers to pick and now with all the old guard retiring there really is nobody to choose from.
