I  can see people forgetting about Bobby Moore and Pele in 1970 after this game.

They'll be remembering how big Per looked after Fred bigtime Tongue Out

Its very possible that both teams play 3 holding midfielders tonight.  Kroos Schweinsteiger and Khedira for the Germans and Paulinho Fernandinho and Gustavo for Brazil.  I'm expecting a dour game, especially from the Germans

I think Fred retired from International football before the tournament started.

Holland are currently a general 7/2 to win the World Cup at present, without kicking a ball tonight when either Brazil or Germany get Das Boot will Holland's price fall even though they will still have to beat two teams?

crying, crazed Brazilians v completely dis-interested looking Ozil.

I know what mentality I'd rather be backing.

the mistake you're making with that bet is assuming the past is a guide to the future

ozil COULD get interested, but where can brazil go from here?

neymar silva luiz alves

take these 4 out of brazil team and it is basically a mid-table premier league team that is left

Brazil to qualify, small stakes just for a bit of fun. I've made my coppers on this tournament already but feel like without a bet this could be slightly boring.

THIS GERMAN TEAM ARE NOT PLAYING WELL

Which is exactly why I think Germany have a better chance of winning this than in 2002, 2006, 2010. In 2002 they didn't play well but made it into the final, losing to Brazil mainly (arguably) because of Oliver Kahn's error which allowed Ronaldo to score the opening goal for Brazil. In 2006 and 2010 they played some very good football most of the time but failed to play it 'professionally' when it really mattered and, ultimately, lost to Italy and Spain in the semi finals. Now their football isn't great (from a spectator's point of view) but they're fully in control in almost all of their games and not wasting energy unnecessarily. Coming back from behind against Ghana may not have been what they had expected to happen, but it really helped them as well to strengthen their resolve.

I don't know what will happen tonight and I'm not saying they're guaranteed to win, but this German team has a lot of petrol left in the tank, I think. Grin

It does make a little sense, if both teams tonight play unconvincingly then the Dutch and Argies may shorten. Not everyone has to have the same train of thought as you ****!
By:

Think Holland will shorten if Germany win. Expectation would be that they would have better chance of beating Germany in Brazil than Brazil. Plus, wouldn't Silva be back for final?

and if both teams play well the dutch and the argies will drift

you said the dutch will shorten no matter who wins

how the f@ck does that make sense you C@NT?

Id say holland to beat germany or brazil would be similar odds especially with no neymar

odds vs argues stay the same so therefore the price shouldn't change significantly imo

Don't think Brazil will balloon on team news. No secret Neymar & Silva out. He's not going to rest players for the final. May not get there.

If the German bottlers don't win this world cup with the players at their disposal, then I doubt they'll win another world cup ever.
