USA have not surprised me tbh ,they have a unique style and play to there strength and have more than held their own in a tough section for world cups for a long time ,they get it tight in south America and no easy games ,it breeds toughness and character . But don't forget they are a huge country in their own right and also draw on duel nationality ,it needs tightened as in the future the likes of Costa Rica ect will not be able to compete .
Me thinks the fifa will be stroking after that ,mission accomplished . Belgium done well and could be more to come although the extra 30 was unnecessary . |

Yep USA team is a mirror image of their MLS teams.

Kompany was rock solid. The two full backs Vertongen and Alderweireld were very poor defensively.

Van Buyten huge experience ex-Bayern Munich Full backs are Ok Keeper is top notch I just look at the other teams and apart from France, their defences seem weak in comparison |

have never rated Kompany, he is fine playing the dross in the english league,
he has been a nightmare in the CL and he was rank defensively tonight, he did have a great run forward before sclaffing the ball wide. |
