This is more like the Swiss - no idea what happened against France. I'm pretty sure the whole team were on overs.

It's typical Swiss, well organised, well drilled most tedious football known to man.

This goes to pens unless the Argies rescue us from another 30 something minutes of pain.

It has to be said the Maradona one man team is much better than the Messi one man team

Very like the argies of 86. A distinctly average team with 1 world class talent
By:

When: 01 Jul 14 18:47
Except this World Class talent is only human. He cant work actual miracles like Maradona, unfortunately.

do you think defences are better now, you'd never score a goal like he did in '86 as you'd get brought down now taking one for the team

Maradona was better Rider.. no question.. Messi doesn't carry the responsibility of this shambles of a team very well.. Maradona enjoyed it

Rider, trust me they tried to bring him down, ask Terry Butcher he had a right go at it. Messi was incredibly strong - low centre of gravity - legs like tree trunks. Very difficult to bring down.

two years ago messi was better, perhaps the world cup just came right for maradona in 86, in 82 he was awful

Not to mention that the game was so rough in Maradona's era you had to basically murder somemone before you got sent off

In 1982 Maradona was lucky not to get his legs broken playing against Italy..was a different era..Messi is without doubt on another level to 99% of his peers but Maradona in my view was another level up from that!

First time posting, I'm aware people might not believe me. I put £870 on under 0.5 at 12.5... kept my nerve until 90th min, greened out for 8.6k, rather than 9.1k.. wow..
