Some thicko's on here the first shot was the ball coming off the post where it obviously did NOT go over the line...when it came across and bounced off the keeper it WAS a goal.

Lol at the technology. Fifa can do nothing without messing it up

To be fair, whether or not it was all over, technology is a far better judge than human eyes. But don't the rules say only a goal if you're 100% certain it's over the line?

They shouldn't show the ones that are obviously not goals, like when the ball hit the post there. It makes the technology look stupid.

Or the ones where it hits the back of the net. I know we (football fans) are thick, but we're not that thick. Grin

Darlo and Quatsch, good god. A angled camera view is a terrible way of judging such things.

Hawkeye uses multiple cameras at multiple angles to determine if it crossed the line. It is far, far more accurate than the human eye will ever be.

Welcome to enlightenment.

How can anyone seriously say that wasn't over the line Laugh

Did you all walk away after the replay stopped after it hit the post and not see it go in off the keeper?

Like I just said, I agree. Tech > Human eyes.

Strange being called "thick" for merely reporting what the camera replay showed to us and having a different opinion.

I'd suggest any "thick"ness is stating a blind belief in technology despite what your eyes tell you.
