Just saying.

Why would anyone leave Sunderland and go to West Ham, drop down ennit Confused
Report Biscuit1979 May 9, 2014 4:33 PM BST
Wouldn't say it's a step down but admittedly there's not much between the two sides though.

I'd imagine it would depend on what sort of transfer budget he'd be given. Also living in london would probably appeal to him, and they're moving to a 60k stadium soon
Report PBK May 9, 2014 11:02 PM BST
60k stadium ain't much cop if you only have 35k inside it, 20k when they and they will get relegated Laugh

Alladyce was only at Newcastle for half a season.  Not sure how you can imply his departure had anything to do with their subsequent relegation.

Report morpteh mackem May 10, 2014 10:00 AM BST

Can anyone say if it is possible for a small prem team to stay in the league playing good football/ Most pundits on talksport imply you need sam to keep you up and you should be grateful.Surely it must be awful getting no decent football but saying 60 million in the bank is that what the premier lge means to fans?

If I were Poyet I'd be sticking in Sunderland!

Although hope that shower do over Citeh today!
Report Biscuit1979 May 11, 2014 1:25 PM BST
The thing is if West Ham got a new man in so they can play pretty passing football, then that's all well and good, but if they were struggling to get results then by Jan/Feb 2015 the owners would be panicking because they can't have that new stadium whilst playing in the championship. And if they panicked they'd be looking to get a bloke in who knew the league and could grind out results to get them safe..............someone like Allardyce.
Report treetop May 11, 2014 1:35 PM BST
West Ham to upset the party at Citeh today, just the type ofs poiling game Big Sam excels at. They cant sack him after that, surely.
Report 1st time poster May 11, 2014 1:57 PM BST
having seen a bit of sunderland the only difference west hams will see is the 2 centre halves passing it sideways or backwards to each other before launching 70 yds to carrol,
poyet brought back cattermole and the midfield lad he brought from brighton makes ray wilkins look progressive,
not sure where poyet gets this reputation for creative football from
