Roker Park was near the sea.Hartlepool is close to water. I remember the wind blowing in from a battered old stand in the 80's, and the last time we was there we was drinking in some pub next to water.Grimsby is very close to the North Sea.Norwich is near a river, as is Peterborough.Isn't Man Utd near the Liverpool - Leeds Canal? There's one in Scotland, that's even closer. Arbroath maybe? You have to catch a boat to Venezia's ground. And has anyone mentioned Stockport?
Hartlepool is miles away from water I'm afraid. Well, not miles, but there's three roads, a supermarket, and two car parks to cross before you get to the Marina.
