This Steaua v Werder game is borderline comical, like watching 2 pub teams having a kick about.

It sure ain't pretty.
Steaua +1 looks a gift the way this second half has been going, but Werder have brought on a few fresh players and I don't think the Romanians are 100% fit. They have another month before their league resumes, so they've probably let go during Christmas.  |

I only caught the last 15 of that Bremen-Steaua match, but it was truly dire. Been a good day for late goals again, though Al-Hilal could have made it better with a 1 on 1 against the keeper at the very death.
 I feel like I've been nibbling at popcorn all afternoon though. "Other nonsense" just about sums it up. A very poor day - two La Liga matches at least, but Alfreton and Tamworth wouldn't have got the pulse racing even if their pitch wasn't waterlogged. |
