Only 3 minutes added on for 5 subs...

Load of bollocks Howard Webb when he was pointing to his watch while booking Howard.

That passage of "play" took about 40 seconds.

Depends who you're classing as a top team though. I assume you're classing United as a top side yet not Liverpool or Spurs which on this seasons form is ridiculous.

Against sides likely to contest for the top 4-5 spots, they've won 2 drawn 1 with 2 big tests in the next 2 games.

As pointed out earlier Everton attractive but not adventurous, for all their first half dominance not one attempt on target, they had to fall behind before they looked for a goal with any real intent.

They were passing till they created a good enough chance ,instead of hitting and hoping when they got within range. Thye had 6 or 7 players forward again and again ; how were they not adventurous ?

they created lots in the first half, few times only inches away from getting a good shot in. You dont pin arsenal back like that without being adventurous

If by forward you mean in the opposition's half perhaps, even at corners they had a maximum of 4 in the box, give Lukaku some proper support and the chances/goals will flow I'm sure, no use dominating the opposition if you can't score, they were the same against us (Palace) the other week and we are one of the poorest in the division.

Think you're blinkered by your loyalty guys, do you not believe that you could have taken all three points today if there was someone feeding off of Lukaku or at the very least assisting him, rather than others trying to catch up with him or only having him in the box to aim for...?

I think we'll have to agree to disagree here CL.  Against Man U our left back scored the winner, we had out right back on the 6 yard box waiting for a cross and it was our centre back on the edge of the 18 yard box who started the move.
Today I saw us constantly throwing men ahead of the ball. One chance for pienaar came from our centre back driving up the left wing.  If we played long balls into Lukaku and he was knocking them down to no-one then I think I could see what you mean, but we're playing the ball through the midfield.
The main criticism of our attacking play is that our final ball is often poor. I could accept that.

Cork, I reckon Roberto knows a little more than a betfair forumite Laugh

For what is worth, if you play two upfront you will lose the midfield battle with Arsenal - if you don't have the ball, you can't win.

I think you will find, we did ok today but if you want to ring Roberto and pass on your wisdom you will find Everton Football Clubs number on the internet.

Game of opinions and I respect what you are saying with regard to losing the midfield battle, if you play a second forward, just seems crazy to outplay teams completely but create so few clear cut scoring opportunities.
I'm sure it will all click into place at some stage and someone will receive the hammering your approach play deserves, just feel with a  little more intent a good number of your 7 draws this season could have been converted into victories.

Indeed they did, and from the way you have been playing would you not have expected it to happen on a more regular basis...?
