Million1, the 1/2 jagielka is with sky bet who according to oddschecker are the only other firm betting on it. Admittedly like most of them it's impossible to get a decent bet on. Be lucky to get £20 certainly not £20k!

asparagus--cheers mate just had a look--if i had the money -and you could get more than 40 quid on --1-4 Jack Wilshere (1-10 with bet vic ) would be biggest cert of all time (should be 1-40 IMO )40K TO WIN 10K Then wrap him in cotton wool til next June

The problem with Wilshere is that you do need to wrap him up in cotton wool which is why I'd go for a reliable character like Jagielka if I could lump on. Roy is a loyal guy so there's no way he will leave a first choice starter in the qualifying campaign out of the whole squad.

At any rate whatever happens it should be a laugh. If one or two of the English players have a shot at goal and miss the ball (just to show that they can still do it) then that would be typical icing on the cake.

I stuck the draw in my freebie 5-fold acca. 3 games, 3 draws, weather, lampard and gerrard bringing the jurassic to the middle of the park, jovetic up against cahill and jag, welbeck cacking around like a championship tribute act... it has a whiff of long frustrating night about it. then it finishes 1-0 and everyone calls it a triumph. |
