![]() fk that , i can see another 0-0 , 1-1 They've played these 3 teams and not beaten them once haven't they |
By:
cant see them fooking up this time
By:
Thats the assumption that everyone has been making , especially TV pundits , all through this awful campaign .... 'just win the home games at the end and job done'
If they could blow these teams away with the ease that 2/5 quotes suggest they'd already be through. Hodgson is the main problem . Every match building up the opposition , keeping it tight , '2 banks of four' That approach just guarantees a scrappy game which will be decided by minor details. |

By:
wouldnt touch them at that price, ffs we went there and got a draw
By:
i think if they cant do the buisiness now---they want shooting
By:
We should beat these... & Poland. The embarrassment comes next year..... in Brazil.
By:
agreed---we are 1-7 to qualify---

Well i wouldn't fancy that either ![]() Anything less than 3pts from these 2 games and they are probably 3rd place and out .Second place could mean a play off vs someone like Croatia .They have played 4 matches vs the 'good teams' in this group and won none so far. Just not seeing why people expect them to suddenly turn it on at the end when they have been so poor all through this ![]() |
By:
tobermory---i hope you are wrong BIG TIME--i still think 2-5 to beat Montenegro is a very fair price--
![]() |
By:
I wonder what price the likes of Spain, Germany and Holland would be at home to Montenegro.
2/5 seems a decent price in a game we need to win and where we have pretty much a full strength squad (apart from Johnson and Walcott) to pick from. Montenegro also have injury doubts over their 2 best players. |
By:
England will definitely win this.
-1. I knew they'd draw at Montenegro n all |
By:
3-0 4-0 3-1 4-1
By:
I'm satisfied to lay Montenegro with prices under 10
By:
it will be intersting to see how they price up England v Poland tues--(nobody pricing up til after fridays matches )i would have thought poland would be a shorter price than Montenegro----anyway im lumping England friday to give it that extra buzz

^1973 all over again?
By:
I PRAY NOT--but what a coincidence
By:
England 1-3 now---1.38 on here
By:
only a wild optimist would expect england to win these 2 games. nothing in their performsnces so far suggest they're gonna do it
By:
mafeking--how would you price the Montenegro game ?----and what price England to qualify ?
By:
mafeking 08 Oct 13 14:37
only a wild optimist would expect england to win these 2 games. nothing in their performsnces so far suggest they're gonna do it I'm a wild optimist then. An injury hit Montenegro and a Poland side who may well have nothing to play for by then. Of course we should expect 2 wins. |
By:
doubt you would get evens England to win both games---hardly wildly optomistic
By:
biscuit1979--want a nice early goal in both games to settle the nerves and ease to victory--if its 0-0 after 80 mins i will be hiding behind sofa
![]() |
By:
10 years ago 1/3 would have been a good price but this is an exceptionally weak group of players england have at the moment. i'd have it more like 1/2 now and 1/6 to qualify
By:
point taken---but if we cant stuff Montenegro and Poland at home at this stage---we dont deserve to be going IMO
By:
of course 4 points which should be a given might be enough. ukraine were so inept and unadventurous going forward against england you couldn't be very confident they'll see off poland. all in all it's a pretty desperate group
By:
I just hope England go out and be positive and confident rite from the start
By:
^
some hope of that with Hodgson ![]() |
By:
tobermory--i agree 100 per cent---i honestly think confidence is the major problem---we should be arrogant and positive against teams like this
By:
I expect the dinosaurs Hodgson and Lewington to be fist pumping at full time after a 1-0 victory. What follows will be the cobbling together of 5 points in the group stages before a negative 0-0 affair in the 2nd round to someone seen as mildy superior and losing on penalties.
We have poor players and even weaker management. |
By:
Yes . An open game i would expect England winning 3 or 4-1
Hodgson will only be thinking of the 1-0 though probably . |
By:
thats when it all can go TITS UP---but i make you rite--im still praying for a great performance and easy win---but i am the eternal optomist
By:
it will be a good thing if England dont qualify imo.
next year will just be another embarrasment |
By:
absolute DISASTER if we dont---IMO
By:
lol
we have a set of players who are no where near good enough. its time we woke up and changed how we do things from the very bottom. put the best coaches at school / youth level instead of the clubs snapping them up ......meaning the important coaching gets drummed in very early making more of an impact. the FA need to pay these coaches handsomely |
By:
The FA haven't got a clue how to improve things.
By:
agree---but i still think 2 wins at home should be a formality--
![]() ![]() ![]() |

woy is a terrible appointment by a totally inept fa
shd walk both games but with woy at the helm who knows why does the fa persist in appointing "safe" but useless managers who will win fick all ![]() |
By:
England team----Hart--Walker--Baines--Cahill--Jagielka--Lampard--Gerrard---Welbeck--Townsend--Sturridge--Rooney---Says Jamie Redknapp----SHOULD BE good enough to wallop Montenegro--IMO
![]() |
By:
Not sure Jamie Redknapp has done enough to warrant selection
