Will he really make the difference to this Man Utd team and why, if the stories are correct, would you wait until hours before the transfer deadline to hand in a transfer request.

Yes, of course you would, because by asking for a transfer, means, he loses out (not that he needs it) on a small percentage of I think its the fee paid for him, or something along those lines, if he didn't ask for the transfer.

as you said cri****, he does not need the money. and this late in the day, there is every chance the transfer will not go through which will potentially cause problems if remaining at everton.
on the other hand, if man utd rate him that highly, why not stump up the money while the buyout clause was active instead of making a derisory offer following the expiry. everton should be squeezing every last penny out of Man Utd that they can. |

Silly posts here saying he's not worth £10 million, either your stuck in the 90's or you don't know enough about football. He scored 12 goals for everton last term so he could get 20 goals for utd, if he does achieve that £27.5 million is a steal!
