Ok, so apologies for the lack of updates. I've simply been too busy!
There has been action though... I ended up breaking the rules when my bank was at about 720.0 Wasn't really feeling inspired by anything so I switched up my full bank .05 rule and went for half my bank at 1.13 (Williams sisters to win their double) They lost. Since then after getting back to it, and staying at 1.05, I managed to make it all up, and now sit at 810.0 Gotta really stop deviating! |

I need a bit of clarity here TheNine. The Williams sisters lost 2 days ago. Your bank was down to 360. Since then you've won 450. As I read it, your system was ONE 1.05 a day. Going from 360 to 810 in two days is not following your system. Going from 360 to 810 in two days means you've won about 17 1.05 bets. If that's true, maybe you should toss the one a day rule. Something if a little strange here.

After the williams loss i was on tilt and betting more aggressively.
Today as well - i've been backing 1.10 s full bank. And even a couple of 1.20s, including some NFL. Colts over Raiders pre game was a very generous 1.23. couldn't miss it. it's the gambler in me :) My bank is now at $1180. I just had the river plate win come in. I layed tigre full bank when river plate went up. Now that i've built my bank from 400 to over 1K, full bank is definitely cracking the nerves... so I'm doing alot more half banks @ 1.10s. But like i said, i will TRY to reel it in going forward. |

You went full bank on the Colts? ****g nuts mate, the Raiders really should have won that - I hope you were watching it at least.
If you must go full bank, you need to pick better than that - could have got the Chiefs at 1.14 when they were 21-2 up for example. It's not a race, so now you're up why not withdraw your starting 400 in case you lose it all next bet? |

Pregame the odds on the colts moneyline were actually really generous.
Raiders are considered the worst team in the NFL and had a 2nd string quarterback to boot. The game was definitely closer than it should have been. Presently full bank on the lay of New England vs Montreal. Montreal really should have been favored pre match. They went up early 0-1 when New England got a red card and montreal converted the penalty. Ended up laying the 10 men New England full bank and had a small hedge on the 2-1 win. As I'm typing this, montreal just made it 1-4. The beat rolls on! |

Well, we could argue NFL all night, but your bet won, so happy days - even though it was a lot closer than it really should have been. It's one sport you should avoid low odds pre-off, especially in Week 1.
Actually did the same as you in the NE match, an absolute gift with 10 v 11, although I didn't get on until it was 1-2. Full bank bets usually end in tears - so I'll just say again, at least think about taking some money now while it's going well and you're well up. Hope you keep it going |

i'd typically take back the starting 400.
But if i end up sticking to the 1.05 a day, 400 makes a huge difference in how quickly things multiply. with my bank presently where it is, i'll consider it very soon. i do agree with you though, there were definitely some smarter choices than the colts out there. but i did find the 1.23 very generous. |

I know I haven't exactly stuck to 'the rules' either, but tried to adhere most of the time give or take a few points.
I also know u probably have to take whats on offer if you believe a price is too generous. However!! id have still thought doing the original daily 1.05 and being disciplined enough to do that would allow us to at least have a sniff of that elusive sum you mentioned at the beginning of the thread? Tho on saying that, the Czech gamnes I cover quite a lot would have nowhere near enough liquidity if I get my bank even past £500, corrently not even up to £200 anyway. |

of course there is far too much good stuff over the next 2 days so it shouldn't be difficult to pick a couple more 1.05's so ive gone against my own posting about discipline really.will be looking at u 21's later, poss spain as suggested or wait inplay for other such as Holland Italy or Belgium.

7. Spain U21 to beat Albania U21 £13.94 at 1.06 The senior Eagles team is playing well atm (relatively speaking), but the kids are pretty bobbins so letting head rule heart here. Wouldn't be too downhearted if they somehow managed to sneak a result though, although there's more chance of me sprouting wings and going to watch the game live. |

My average after 7 bets is 1.06, but this will take it down somewhat (to 1.055) - might not be able to get on anything else tomorrow since I have beer plans, so getting it out of the way.
8. Netherlands to beat Andorra £14.74 at 1.02 I realise that putting such a small amount on a 1.02 might seem pointless, but I'd rather get into good habits now so it'll be less tempting to stray if I happen to still be active further down the line. |

This is all looks great in theory mate and I really really hope it works out for you. But you seem the type of guy to chase abit, like you say no discipline to just keep it at 1 bet a day, I do struggle with that myself. I think you need to learn bit more discipline if this is to really work. No doubt you can pick good bets and so far are doing fantastic but putting your whole/half bank on one bet is terrible risky. Plenty of 1.01's go bad on betfair all the time. Im gonna follow this thread closely though. GOOD LUCK
