How much are they going to pay for Benzema? Waste of money if over 30million, and Madrid would be better off waiting to sign Benteke.

Madrid have had to remortgage their souls to get Bale and need to sell to pay 59 million up front so can't see Suarez going there.

Why does everybody think that Madrid have no money, didn't stop them borrowing €130m to fund Ronaldo & Kaka......Money that was made back within 18 months. They wouldn't have agreed to sign Bale (weeks ago) if they didn't have the cash

We know Madrid are backed by the Spanish banks, we know the Spanish banks, and economy, are in disarray. Real Madrid wanted to pay the Bale money over 5 years but Levy/Spurs wanted a much larger up front installment and Marca, Madrids mouthpiece, stated Madrid couldn't possibly afford to do that as they'd already invested heavily this summer. The deal could/can only be concluded on Spurs terms, Bale still has three years left on his contract, despite RM and Marca doing their level best to make them cave in to Madrids terms they've stood firm and as the window draws to a close they've, RM, got to act to pay the up front fee required as they know that's the only way they can get their man.

Guilleme just said on twatter that no bid has been received for Benzema, let the games begin...
