Playing tonight vs Melbourne Victory  (Aus Time)

Being reported here that if they all turn up, this will be the biggest crowd the club has played in front of  in its history.

Shirley not? Grin

There must have been 125,000 at the '86 Cup Final looking at the film of the ticketless ones getting in

Wembley regularly held 100'000 in the 70s and 80s and liverpool played there on many occasions ?

Come to think of it though......considering it's at the MCG, those in the seats high in the stands.... and at the back... might be able to claim they didn't see Liverpool or Melbourne Victory  at all .

The record for an AFL match at the MCG is around 125,000  in the 1970's I think.

Since the new stands etc I think its just under the 100,000

Think most of the crowd will be there to see Melbourne Victory tbh.

Man U were here on Saturday, they could have had them play each other and make it the first game of the season
