He was class MrLay but that was a long long time ago. Run a defence rugged? Your having a laugh are you not? He toddled around and put zero pressure on Italian defence or holding mid-fielders during the week hence the Italian domination. His only contribution was that great turn followed by a wasteful shot. The guy is gone at the game and should not be in squad never mind the team. Like I said advantage Brazil with that mug up front

Capable is the key word mate

By:
I'm a united fan, for liverpool he was awesome. I was at OT when he beat us 4-1, painful stuff. Class is permanent, I would love him to come to United as once he gets on a role and gets some confidence he would be great again. But yeah, he is either rubbish or class
By:
He could easily score 2 against brazil tonight, he is capable.
By:
That was years ago MrLay lost it including pace since his injuries. We both want Spain to win but sadly he is a hindrance rather than a benefit still no teams up on BBC website so hoping he still might be on bench

the Brazilians last competitive home loss came back 1975
last home loss was 38 years ago the finalists have only met on eight occasions before , brazil winning four to spains two with two matches drawn Spain have not lost a competitive match in 29 games, since their shock reverse to Switzerland at the start of the 2010 World Cup The last time the two sides met in a match with anything at stake was in the early stages of the 1986 Word Cup. Brazil won by a single goal in a match in which Spain had one effort controversially disallowed ***just reading online , looks like a draw to me extra time and maybe penalties , tough game |
By:
4 years back I think, I have faith in the guy. Im lumping on over 1.5 so 1-1 is fine for me! small bet on spain to win the title at evens
By:
I don't and anybody who watched is tepid display against Italy would agree. Like I said no coincidence the previously apparently jaded Spanish took over in extra time when he was long over due taken off the pitch
By:
never the same after injury, liverpool sold ad great time imo
By:
for sure, never been as good since
By:
Brazil: Cesar; Alves, Silva, Luiz, Marcelo; Gustavo, Paulinho; Oscar, Fred, Neymar; Hulk. Subs: Jefferson, Cavalieri, Fernando, Lucas, Hernanes, Dante, Luis, Jean, Rever, Bernard, Jo, Jadson.
Spain: Casillas; Arbeloa, Pique, Ramos, Alba; Xavi, Busquets, Iniesta; Mata, Torres, Pedro. Subs: Valdes, Reina, Albiol, Martinez, Azpilicueta, Villa, Fabregas, Soldado, Monreal, Cazorla, Silva, Navas. |
By:
Advantage Brazil for sure, Spain shot themselves in the foot with that selection. Not just Torres but f**king Pedro as well though he can be unpredictable where Torres is predictably **** unless of course facing global heavyweights such as Tahiti
By:
mata instead of silva is very advantageous for spain; silva has been woeful so far
By:
u2.5
for me if its still 0-0 at HT will green upgl |
By:
bank job on over 1.5 for me.
By:
I'm all in on Spain for the outright . Gutted to see Torres and Pedro starting
Would not have either. |
By:
brazil were favorites this morning!
By:
Negated by Torres starting SSIP
By:
who on earth would pick torres over villa? navas always makes a good impact as a sub for spain
By:
Spain should have gone with no striker set up . Would have swamped the midfield and Brazil would hardly have touched the ball , and Brazil would have played a high defensive line without anyone to mark.
Now i think Brazil can compete in midfield and even though their defence is not the best, should cope with Torres and Pedro. |
By:
we are all guessing, but we dont know what will happen!
By:
I hope brazil thrash that backward passing bores.
By:
all i know is that if one team will score the other will obviously have to go for it.
By:
You are hoping we are guessing MrLay the common consensus is that Torres is a hindrance we all cannot be wrong? Hope we are proven wrong but doubt it
By:
Two bets stand out for me. Spain over 180.5 backwards passes, and over 4.5 Torres stumbles as he's about to shoot.
By:
If they play a high like they stop backwards passing. Don't let Spain play in front of you. This was Uruguay's error.

Good luck with that Milan. i was on goals in the Spain/Italy game, and almost ended up swinging in the garage by full time it was that dull.

By:
Spain to win yet another cup for me.
2.1 Spain. |
By:
Spain should win comfortably if they play well. They are stronger in all departments.
By:
His only contribution was that great turn followed by a wasteful shot. The guy is gone at the game and should not be in squad never mind the team. Like I said advantage Brazil with that mug up front
Slight exaggeration there, he is far from the player he was but he is far from shot just yet. Brazil just dont defend well as a team even though Silva should have him in his back pocket with plenty of room to spare. I want Brazil to win as Im sick to death of Spain boring slow play that commentators drool over, "oh look, xavi has a pass accuracy rating of 95%" zzzzz Hopefully Brazil start fast and maintain it for more than 20 mins as they usually do |
By:
Shoot me down in flames but this wont be another Spain v Italy, small punt on +3.5 @ 4.15 (b365) for me....
By:
I can smell goals here also. Brazil will be looking to entertain.
By:
anyone have any thoughts on Corners - the line is +/- 10?
