a load of bookmakers should get together and bribe FIFA to give tahiti a bye to the WC finals.

Ahwel. Over 6.5 and 7.5 came in for me which is good news, although as I say, shame I didn't just back the 8-0!

I take it most of us are small winners from this so 'grats all.

As for Tahiti, the tragic thing about all this is that they actually HAVE improved since the first game, where if it hadn't been for Nigeria quite simply dicking around and IMO being completely disrespectful (trying to round the keeper when he's inside his own 6-yard box etc.) that probably could and would have been at least 10.

In tonights game, Uruguay did miss a pen and an open goal but realistically aside from that there weren't THAT many chance missed.

all three of their results have been about right. conceded 6, 8, 10 in order of opposition quality, scored their only goal against the team you'd expect them to.

my kind of minnows Love

viva I think some of the bookies will be glad to see the back of them as they were impossible to price up and all the recreational gamblers would have taken the favs on the handicaps and backed goals.

I wish they were at every tourney simply cos the goals markets odds were all over the place as people didn't know what the true prices should have been

doubt we'll ever see a team that rubbish at an international tournament for a long time.

Fear not though, it's only 2 weeks til the Gold cup starts, some equally pathetic teams are in that

North American championship... It's basically US, Mexico, Costa Rica, Honduras and 8 countries more from that confederation. None as bad as Tahiti though. Don't expect an 8-0, even if it's Mexico vs Jamaica. They play a bit better.

It's the CONCACAF championship, it's what Mexico won to qualify for this Confederations cup.

Yeah, Honduras-Grenada 7-1... But the difference is that teams here were playing full reserve squads against Tahiti and still having mercy on them. Last play by Uruguay was truly of gentlemen, they could have gone for the 9th but decided it was not worth battering these guys who are amateurs and have jobs like us, saving a pen was yet another glorious moment for them after the goal against Nigeria.

Yeah i doubt any of them will be as bad as Tahiti but should still be some easy pickings to bet on. Cuba and Belize aren't going to be too great
By:

When: 23 Jun 13 22:45
Yeah, well Grenada or Belize tiny sized like Oceania micro-nations but Cuba is intriguing, a medium sized country with a sporting culture, great athletes, lots of gold medals, high jump record is still theirs, volleyball teams are huge, probably if they were not under the american embargo, they could send football players abroad to have a good team.

Enjoyed watching Tahiti - gave it a good shot

tiny little nation half the size of luxembourg - you can't expect them to compete with countries 1000x bigger - (Nigeria)

well done Viva on the red card -pity you didnt do a red card accy Wink
