Balls, just realised that. Most bookmakers voided bets already I hate all this messing around. All boys fc have a game Thursday, they are hardly going to sandwhich a game in between then if its not already been announced. Hopefully common sense prevails tomorrow  but I doubt it

All Boys next game is Friday night. So realistically if it's being played this week they'd have to make a decision today and play it tomorrow. That's surely unlikely to happen.

Lists i'm looking at says their next league game is friday and the cup match v Boca is next midweek?

All Boys v Boca is on Thursday 13th June @ 9.00pm in the Copa Argentina. Highly unlikely this game will be replayed before then.

anyone managed to speak to Betfair about this yet to see if they will make a decision? Getting abit of a joke now if other bookmakers have voided bets! They haven't even put an announcement up in this forum about it either

Sites i'm looking at say they're playing Racing in the league on friday so surely they won't have a cup match just 24 hours earlier.

I learned first hand about being resident in Argentina; the AFA have never replayed a game within 3 days in the 10 years I've been watching their football. Life is slow there. Remember that any professional club there has to file notice of any event requiring security which takes a week, and whilst a game behind closed doors would get round this notice period, I imagine that a degree of security would be needed- especially since both clubs are in Buenos Aires and there is clearly a chaotic lot of fans as we saw last time.

because they are obviously waiting for an official date. It should have been voided the other day like paddy power and bet365

you haven't got your money back for the reason i stated earlier... Betfair won't pay out until they hear from their own people it won't be replayed in 3 days REGARDLESS of what the AFA website says, what other bookmakers say.

Why haven't all bets been voided yet (been longer than 3 days) or the market re-opened?

Just been reading through the sportsbook rules and regulations and noticed the following......

In relation to any match, fixture, game, individual event, race or similar: If the event is not completed within three days after the scheduled completion date, then all bets on markets for this event will be void, except for bets on any markets that have been unconditionally determined.

Therefore the three days from the scheduled completion date would of been early hours this morning.

Now due to the fact they have this stated under their rules and regulations we are well within our right to ask for our bets to be voided and be returned our money. They cannot make us keep our bets as it has been over 3 days since the scheduled completion time. I'll be interested to see if they void all bets before kick off

Just spoken to them, they are going to call me back as the traders are looking into the rules.

The 72 hours did indeed pass early hours this morning however there may be another rule that has come to light with precedes this one which may mean all bets stand when the game kicks off at 6:30pm.

by the time you get your money back (if you do) the game will probably have re-started anyway. Why not just keep your bets?

Just had the phone call and here's the reply.....

Because the game was played early hours Sunday morning the '3-day rule' comes into effect from the start of the following day. So Monday morning the rule would have commenced. If the game is played today at 18:30pm as rumoured then all bets will stand.If the game is NOT played by midnight tonight then all bets will be voided.

Apparently the '3-day rule' does not equate to a 72 hour period. It just means a straight forward 3 actual days.

Also there is a possibility the game will not be in-play if it does go ahead today if their are no available streams. Which would screw us all up who are waiting to lay off.

Betfair really need to listen to their customers, they fail to do so time and time again. Those markets should of been void by now HOWEVER all of a sudden the rule has a different meaning that what it has previously when i've seen other games fall under 3 day rule.

Milan my understanding is you bet over 1.5 at a poor price and have been saved by a stoppage.
The 3 day rule is a bit silly though, so an 11.30pm kick off is voided after 72 hours and a 12.30am kick off is voided after 96 hours?  That's a four day rule for a midnight kick off....

Wudn't u think with the amount of times this happens, in Argie especially, that BF wud put in place clear easy to follow rules regarding such matches. This idea now that the 72 hour rule starts a day later is a step too far. Surely after that amount of time has passed, the match is too far removed from the original, e.g who knows what lineups will be, what weather is like, if its behind closed doors etc

UTC stands for something like universal time coordinated which I'm not sure where it applies
bst is british summer time which seems to be the time betfair are using despite being based in gibraltar (time is GMT+1 in gibraltar)

all in all very confusing, not least that it says this match started in 2014....

I can see why betfair have said what they have. The game was in the early hours of sunday, it's now 3 days later and the game will re-start.

Milan - you haven't been ripped off at all. The bet could quite easily still come in.

This is an absolute joke, either refund all bets straight away or hold all bets until there has been a replay.

If the match isn't played from where it left off (25 min in) especially if they play 36 mins then have a HT then another 36 mins, then any bet placed on sunday would have to be refunded...don't think they were listening to you Everton, maybe just trying to get brownie points.

More than likely the case mate. Seems funny the way I was originally advised that the 3 day ruling stood but then around 3-4 hours later they have made a decision to listen to the members. I'm sure it won't be the last time some of us experience this...
